The application follows the FSRC lineage and Master Joseph Yu methodology, using the Chai Bu Fa (拆補法) -Splitting & Supplementing Method-, and provides fast, reliable Chart Creation with an English-friendly workflow.
Qi Men Dun Jia, together with Da Liu Ren (大六壬) and Tai Yi Shen Shu (太乙神數), forms the classical system known as the Three Arts (San Shi 三式) -China’s highest metaphysical arts for strategic timing-, selection, planning, and decision-making.
Why “1080 Ju” Matters
Qi Men Dun Jia charting is built upon the 1080 Ju (1080 局) structure.
Although different schools use different plotting procedures, they all rely on the same underlying 1080 Ju.
Two widely known charting approaches are:
• Chai Bu Fa (拆補法) - Splitting & Supplementing Method
• Zhi Run Fa (置闰法) - Adding Extra / Intercalation Method

Just got this app. I notice that the app uses rat hr to be around one hr later for daylight savings time march 8 to nov 1. It don’t use the hr on the hr for the 2 hr cycle. Seems to use 9 mins after the hr. Not a big issue. One have to compute each hr . It would be nice to have an option of button to move hour forward/backward on the chart with having to go to the date input section.

Thank you very much for your feedback and for taking the time to share your observations.In the app, the Time Zone represents the Hour difference, while the Minutes are adjusted based on the Longitude of the Location.Both Time Zone and Longitude are very important for the accurate calculation of QMDJ Charts, since these methods depend on true Local Time rather than only the standard clock Hour.Regarding your suggestion for an Hour forward/backward Navigation Button, this is a very helpful idea.We plan to add a navigation button below Each Chart in the next update, so users can move through the Hours/Days/Months/Years Charts more easily without returning to the date and time input section.Thank you again for your helpful suggestion and support.

We’ve added new Navigation Buttons directly below the Charts to make chart browsing faster and more convenient.
You can now move more easily through the chart timeline without needing to return each time to the Date and Time input Section. This makes Chart comparison smoother and improves the overall user experience when reviewing different periods.
This update is designed to help users work with QMDJ Charts in a more practical and intuitive way.
