If I could write an iTunes review using animated GIFs it’d include a bunch of clapping and thumbs up gifs. This is the app you’ve been waiting for but maybe didn’t know you were waiting for. It makes collecting and pasting GIFs a breeze. Every GIF is no more than 3-5 keystrokes away. You can easily add new ones, or even import batches through github. It’s brilliant. I hope the developer becomes filthy rich off of this app.

I spend most of my day on GitHub where I’m constantly participating in text based conversation. To keep text based threads from feeling emotionless, I use gifs constantly. I even created a repository for handy access to my gifs.However I still have to run out to the website to grab gif URLs, or surf through my local copy of the repo for access. That’s where Gifwit makes my workflow easier.With Gifwit I just import all my gifs into the app, and then with a simple keyboard shortcut I can search by keyword, locate my gif, and copy the URL to the clipboard to quickly paste into Chat or threads.:boom: :zap: :heart:

This app works great for gifs, but I wish I could add .gifv files. I end up having to save .gifvs in a different spot, which is annoying (first world problems :) ) Add .gifv and you’ll take my 5 stars.
