This update improves room-by-room heat loss figures, job setup, calendar bookings and customer details on iPhone and iPad. It also adds custom proposal terms, clearer pricing pages and survey reliability fixes.

This major update brings a redesigned Heat Engineer app with light and dark modes, and connected mobile and desktop projects. Create customer proposals with equipment and labour costs, prepare DNO applications, estimate heat pump performance, and access instant EPC-based estimates, whole-house heat loss and room-by-room surveys. Capture measurements manually or use LiDAR on compatible devices, import surveys through your MagicPlan or Vieweet dashboard integrations, and explore scanned properties in 3D and augmented reality. Built-in survey checks, air source heat pump sound assessments and project synchronisation help you take your work from site to office.

When using the 3D scanning LiDAR, we have now added the ability to export the 2D plans in a PDF format.

We now have a LiDAR feature so you can scan the rooms if you have a Pro model iPhone or iPad.

This update makes your app fully compatible with our upgraded login system, boosting security and performance for a seamless experience.

We have introduced the input dwelling type, number of storeys and shielding. More information about this can be read on steps 1 and 2 within your dashboard online. Also helpful notes have been added in the German version.

Final room by room heat loss results are shown, if all survey information is complete such as dimensions and building materials.

You can now send ASHP sound assessments to the main Heat Engineer dashboard. We have also populated the sound power level for a range of models which include Daikin, Samsung and Vaillant.

Catering for Germany we use comma's rather than decimal when German language is selected and have made improvements to the translations too.

New security measures have been added and within the German version we have translated the room names.

We have now added the BOSCH laser tool Bluetooth feature. The building materials page also has a search feature. You can also edit and then copy rooms. Bluetooth feature also work on the Vaulted rooms too.

There are now images for most building materials. UK Approved Document L building regulations 2021, new build U values for building material have been added and can be selected quickly with a toggle button. Laser tools measurements can now be sent via Bluetooth to the app. A selection of towel rails have been added. Look up address from post code, displaying altitude too. Changed the terminology for external walls, to external wall perimeter. Added extra terminology for Roof glazing 'Skylights'.

This new version includes viewing the app in landscape on the iPad. You can also split the screen too using the multitasking menu (three dots at the top of the screen)

If deleting a survey the app will now ask you twice, to avoid any accidental deleting. We have added the old notes facility which was there in previous versions. Photos for each element is now limited to avoid overloading a file size. We have added a photo feature. So you can take photos, add markups likes arrows and highlighters and add notes. This feature is available for each room, the plant/tank room, proposed air source heat pump outside location and proposed ground source heat pump loop locations.

We've added a quick to use heat loss estimator tool, which has the ability to compare different results for a given project. You can copy a survey, make some changes for a different scenario and see the results in a bar chart format. Has the option for either domestic or commercial.

Copy feature for 'When was the room built?' Command prompts to ensure necessary data is entered. Fixed bug when two rooms could be entered as the same name. Removed unnecessary extra fields on create project screen. Fixed bug on room parameters not saving when first added. Favorites list available for building materials.

To improve performance we have removed 'Towel rail' feature in the 'Add current radiator' emitters section so users can use the custom rad selection instead. Split room bugs have also been fixed.
