6144 is a merge puzzle built on twelve rungs - 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384, 768, 1536, 3072 and finally 6144. Every tile you make is one rung higher.
THREE MODES, THREE DIFFERENT GAMES
CLASSIC - 4x4, no clock, no interruptions. Pure puzzle, and you can keep playing past 6144 if you have it in you.
BLITZ - the same board on a 90 second clock. Every merge buys back time worth its rung, so a big merge is not just score, it is survival. Bank enough and the clock climbs back up; let it run down and the run is over.
SURGE - a roomier 5x5 board that keeps filling itself in. A new tile drops every few seconds whether you move or not, and the gap between drops tightens the higher you climb. Turn-based calm replaced by genuine pressure.
EARN YOUR EDGE
Every run pays out coins based on how far you scored and how high you climbed. Spend them on boosts that change how you play:
UNDO - take back one move, once per run.
HEAD START - begin every run with a 12 already on the board.
SECOND WIND - survive one dead board, once per run. It clears the smallest tiles and lets you keep going.
There are tile sets and board finishes to unlock too, if you want to change the look. All of it is earned by playing - there are no in-app purchases.
TRACK YOUR CLIMB
The menu is three ladders side by side, one per mode, each showing your best score and lit to the highest tile you have ever reached in it. Your whole history in one glance. Game Center leaderboards for all three modes put your best against everyone else's.
