This tool is extremely accurate and very fast. I recommend it if you need to extract mail from a Mac accurately.Here's the problem I had: I wanted to copy email folders on my Mac to an Exchange server. When I simply dragged the folders within the Mac Mail program to the Exchange server it didn't copy them properly: many times the sender, subject or date didn't copy. I suspect that's because some older emails don't adhere exactly to the Mail program's format.But this tool extracted all my mail folders into a PST file perfectly - all fields are properly preserved. Then I could use Outlook for Mac: I imported the PST file and dragged the folders to the Exchange server within Outlook. Everything worked!

I wanted to move work emails I had foolishly pulled into folders in Mail on my personal Macbook Pro into Windows Outlook 2016 on my work computer. It seemed like a great idea until I ran into the MBOX vs PST problem. There are a number of converters out there, but I felt comfortable using this one from the Apple App Store. The price was less than most and it worked very well. I pulled the folders I wanted to move onto an external hard drive, converted them there, and then uploaded them from the external hard drive into Outlook on my work computer. The whole process took about five minutes each direction for around 1,000 emails in 25 different folders and subfolders. Everything came out perfectly.

I’m moving from Apple Mail to Outlook 2016 for Mac. Wanted to convert existing .mbox files to .pst. I had a problem (MINE!) and simply switched to method two by exporting my mail files to an empty directory and next pointing the conversion package to that directory. Worked instantly and the way files are arranged exceeds my expectation. I was trying to do this conversion manually and I wish I’d have bought the package to avoid wasted effort. Be careful with other products as most are made to work on PCs. KUDOs to the developer! This application is SUPERB in every respect.
