I've had the iOS/iPad version for a few years, but I had put off buying the Mac version as I didn't have a Mac at the time. Afterward, I was a bit put off buy the screenshots in the Mac AppStore, because it looked like it was possibly only a full-screen app. The windowed mode, however, is just about perfect. It has a helpful sidebar that can display navigation or stats for a file. One minor request regarding navigation would be to make it possible to collapse and open subheadings. It also would be nice if there was an option to use compact toolbar, however, as there aren't that many tools anyway.I also love that I can choose system-installed fonts for editing. It would be nice to have more control over text width and margin in both the editor and the preview (I'd like an option for a narrower margin in the editor, esp.), as well as additoinal line-spacing settings for preview. When showing the preview alongside the editor, it's easy for it to get quite out of sync because of different font, margin, and line sizes. One last thing: I understand why some might want to have muted colors for markdown symbols in the editor, but I think it would be helpful to have an option not to use muted colors, at least for list bullets and numbers, as these are actually likely to get rendered by a character in the preview/output. It would help to make the lists stand out as lists. An option to disable the muted color for all symbols might also be good, but at least for lists. :)I'm glad I finally took a chance on the Mac version. I might end up using it even more than the iOS/iPad one. Thanks!
