I have been using this app which is new but the laptop software for probably 7+ years. The new owner of the software has completely revamped it and it is a work in progress but he is very responsive to questions or issues and is always on top of and improving it.

This app allows you to track a whole lot of information and have it in just one place.Even as comprehensive as tracking the DOT codes on your tires.The developer is also great as far as support or questions go. I recommend it highly.
More fixes to work out
Forester, Forester
I bought this a few days ago and started to build my inventory, some of the fields show up and some times they don't also, I click on the drop down menus and there is no data in them i.e. the location & the catagory tabs. This gets to be annoying after a while. I really would love to use this app but it needs a little more work.
Fixed: Restoring a backup
Restoring a backup no longer causes duplicate records or interrupts iCloud sync. Restores now apply instantly — no relaunch needed — and your other devices update automatically. A safety backup of your current data is saved before every restore.
If you saw duplicate records after restoring a backup in the previous version: update all your devices, then restore a backup made from before the duplicates appeared. The duplicates will be cleaned up on all your devices automatically.
