I like this app. I love that it can be placed on the desktop and be unobtrusive. I love that I can size the clock face to any size I want. I love that I can customize it to some extent. What I don't love is the fact that it will, at times, cause my Finder menu to become unresponsive. This seems to happen particularly after the clock has been covered up for an extended period of time. When this happens, I cannot click on any of the Finder menu options at the top of my screen (The apple logo, the application menu, File, Edit, View, etc). On the opposite side of the screen from these menu items, where I have the menu bar icons and the date and so forth, all of those work. But the menu items are inaccessible. The only way to make them work again is to quit the Clock app, and then bring up the Force Quit menu and restart Finder. This bug shoudl be fixed, but it's not a show-stopper for me. I still like this app a lot.I have some suggestions for improvements in future versions. Well, one, actually. I would love to be able to fully customize the face of the clock, to include the numbers and the tick marks, the background image, the hands, etc. I would love that.

All I needed was an analog clock face to be on my desktop, readily available to glance at. Using “Style 15” in the upper left corner of my desktop, it’s never intrusive* and always available. It just works for all I need it to do. The caveat * is that when I step away from the computer for just a few minutes, the clock pulls itself forward of all the layers of open apps and what-have-you on the screen and hovers on top of everything else. That’s really just a tiny, minor gripe. As soon as you tap any key the clock retreats to its normal position, behind everything. I honestly don’t remembering paying to remove the ads, but I am not getting them. YMMV. So this app is doing everything I asked it to do, which wasn’t much, and doing it very well. So, five stars. If I were to use more features built in to the clock and of course, pay for them if need be, then my rating might be better or worse; we may never find out. But for now I am pleasantly satisfied that I got what I wanted.

I like the app, in spite of the non-information accompanying it. However, as is mentioned SEVERAL times above, moving it is confusing. It was only by reading a review here that I could get the app where I want it. It is unusual to find a company who DOESN’T WANT TO GENERATE MORE REVENUE. I am trying to update to access the additional clock faces. I too did the update and cannot update the features. $2.99 is a fair price for such frivolity. It is frustrating to not be able to use what I THINK I have paid for. Suggestion to the developers: Get off your laurels and fix this before customers start dropping your product from frustrated disgust. Thanks for reading. I will be one of those customers soon if you do nothing,ADDENDUM: for those who are still figuring out how to get rid of the notice to upgrade after you've upgraded, there is place to click "restore your purchase to stop ads" button in the app itself. It is under the Help Tab.

1. Haven't experienced the crashes mentioned in some reviews, but I have only be using this app for two days. Will update review if it is indeed an issue.2. Nice selection of clock faces with purchase.Wish List:1. Would like option to include month, day, and date on some or all clock faces. As of now, none of the clock faces included in the paid upgrade include month, day, and date. I use to use Simple Floating Clock (free, can be found on web) and it has this option -- it just isn't as nice looking and polished as the clocks available in this app.2. As another review mentioned, the ability to tweak colors and faces (clock backgrounds) would make this app great.3. Through trial and error I was able to figure out how to place the clock on a second monitor. Placement was not intuitive. It would be nice if there were checkboxes that you clicked to select one, multiple, or all monitors that the clock would appear on. Not only do I use multiple monitors, but I use Mission Control. So anything that makes clock management simple and intuitive would be greatly appreciated.Keep up the good work!
