I’m using the app to browse photos downloaded from my camera because it’s much quicker viewing than to open them all in Photoshop. I especiall like that I can click on the pic I’m viewing and drag it to the photoshop icon for further editing. I’d really like to see info like ISO, Shutter Speed, F Stop, Pixel Dimensions and file size in a panel on the side of below or in the margin somewhere.

I switched from Windows to Mac, and it is silly that there is no image viewer that comes with Mac that can scroll through the images like a flip book. There is the option to press spacebar and scroll through in Finder, but that will not enable the user to scroll through the images in the right order. I previoulsy used Tovi, but I had problems with that viewer.ViewPic, on the other hand, has a very clean and simple interface that can do just that simple job I was looking for. It also comes with other features, but they don’t overcrowed the product. After my purchase, there was some confusion about not being able to scroll though my images. I contacted support to see what was going on, and I was explained the problem, and it was fixed. It had to do with Mac’s security settings. The staff was very friendly. I say this is a recommended product. I hope more files become compatible.

I wanted a picture viewer that works like the good old standard image viewer in Windows. This isn't it!It will be 2020 in days, but we still can't get a computer to work the way we intutively expect it to?How it works: I double click on an image, and this app opens only that image. I can't immediately scroll to the next or previous images in that folder. This app is already a fail!If I want to scroll, I have to find "open all files", which in turn opens up a finder window. Then I select "open", and tiny thumbnails appear across the bottom. That's a bit more "interactive" than I was hoping for...But it doesn't end there. I go to scroll through the thumbnails. I'm using my fingers to swipe through the thumbnails, but nothing is happening. I try to click on thumbnails, but nothing happens. I try to zoom with the gesture that works on literally every modern device, but guess what? No zoom! Turns out it only accepts arrow key input to scroll. That or hovering over the top of the image for the arrow buttons to appear, and then click on the arrows. And zooming is done by the zoom buttons, which is a bit too 1990s for me! I already know that I can hit [command] A to select all images in a folder, and then open with preview. This is actually more effective, because atleast then I can scroll through thumbnails and zoom at will. But that process is less than idea.I was looking for an app that doesn't require me to explain what I want it to do every time I use it. And this app ain't it!

This is a well designed photo viewing app that can open one, or all of the photos in a folder, allowing you to scroll through them - full screen / dark background - with the arrow keys, rendered according to their refinement, offering a drop down menu of editing features including resizing and zoom. This app does not feature a fancy slide show with dissolve and background music - thank God! Sometimes we DON’T want all that sexy stuff goin’ on. I download a lot of photos of an adult nature and this app offers a pleasing platform on which to view them.
