I really enjoy a few of these backgrounds, but I'd like to see more of them, and it really is time for a change up. Anyone agreeing, Please Click 'Helpful'.One of my favorite scenes is stuck in 'Random', it's "A Tropical Beach Under Shade Of Trees". Please move it to the regular list. I would also like to see more "Forest Scenes", we don't all yearn for beaches. Some of us are campers and hikers and fishers, or just enjoy these scenes. We would like to see Creeks and Rivers and Ponds and Lakes and Woodland Trails and Waterfalls! If anyone here would like to see these kinds of wallpapers, Please Click 'Helpful'.

I really enjoy this app overall. I like having the weather quickly viewable on my desktop without thinking about it while I'm using hot corners. I also enjoy the video desktops offered as well as the option to have them change randomly every hour or so. That said, a lot of the videos have motion that is simply much too fast and instead of being relaxing, it's almost a bit anxiety-inducing. For example, there's a video of clouds blowing over mountain tops, but it appears the video has been sped up 2-3x and they move at a very unrealistic speed. There are similar examples to this and I really wish they'd either have these videos be at normal speed or have an option that you could select what speed the video should be played at. Additionally I would really like a larger sized display option for the weather on the desktop. I've emailed the company but sadly no response or acknowledgement to any suggestions. A simple "thanks and it's being considered" would've been nice, esp since I just spent $6 or whatever on a very unnecessary app. Still deciding if this purchase was worthwhile.

There are so many desktop weather apps and I have taken a look at quite a few. This weather app seemed to have the UI (user interface) that works well on my desktop. It's not perfect and it most certainly has a few glithces like the life screen not lineing up with the present weather conditions but that's something that may get fixed in the future. I like having the small weather window on my screen for a quick view of the weather. This weather app may not be for everyone but it most certainly is the one for me.

I did not hesitate to download this application when it was introduced years ago. I especially appreciate the metric options for wind speed and temperature (m/s), which is more intuitive for me. The current weather option has alerted me many times since my workspaces are opposite the office windows. So many times, the snow videos has provided me with time to wrap things up before the roads become too hazardous. Alternate weather video themes have been relaxing and reflective. Truly, this is a living weather application.
