ZuluDesk Teacher gives teachers the tools to manage their students' school-issued devices. Using the intuitive interface, you can restrict which apps students can access on their device, keep students focused during class by creating Lessons that allow or restrict certain apps and websites, answer students' questions with Messages, and use Weblock to make sure students can only visit teacher-approved websites.

To assist teachers and students learning remotely, Jamf School is introducing new features for the Jamf School Teacher and Jamf School Student apps.
Help Guides— Teachers can now tap Help Guides on the app dashboard to view step-by-step guides on how to use features in the Teacher app.
Raise Hand— Allows students to use the Jamf School Student app to notify teachers that they need help. Teachers have the option of sending a message or email to the students to respond.
Share Lesson— Allows teachers to share a Lesson with another teacher via a URL.

App Request— You can now request apps for your students and classes using App Request in ZuluDesk Teacher. When you request an app, administrators are notified and can review, approve, or deny the app request. You are then notified if the app request is approved or denied in the Teacher app. For more information on App Request, see the Jamf Teacher Guide for Teachers.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the error message text from displaying when trying to delete a chat message.
- Fixed an issue that prevented teachers from setting the automatic clear timer when restricting student devices.
- When creating a new message to a student, the Send Message button has been renamed Create Chat.
- When creating Lessons, you can now add lesson resources such as websites and documents in Google Drive or Dropbox. These lesson resources are available to students while the lesson is active. You can add these resources to lessons by either navigating to the website or document you want to share and tapping the Share icon and then tapping ZuluDesk Teacher, or you can tapping the lesson you want to add the resources to in ZuluDesk Teacher and then enter the URL in the Lesson Links field.
- Fixed an issue that prevented teachers from configuring the Automatic Clear time when setting restrictions on a student device.
- Fixed an issue that caused iBeacons to not function properly.
- Fixed an issue that prevented users from clearing an Attention message on student devices and occasionally prevented the Attention message from displaying.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Attention screen from being cleared when restrictions were cleared on a device with iOS or iPadOS 13.2.2.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Attention screen from displaying when the Student app is running in the background.
