This is a fantastic product for cooking. Use it all the time to put my favorite recipes. It is easy to scale up or down depending on my needs at the time. Allows you put in all the steps and timeframes to process an item. Wonderful.

I received the perfect scale for Christmas, but before I got the scale I had already downloaded all three of the apps perfect bake perfect blend and perfect drink. The apps are amazing, they are definitely attuned towards a person who has experience with technology, but even if you're not that great at using new technology they offer lots of videos to help you along the way. The recipes are wonderful and I love that they add new recipes all the time, I love that the apps are free even if you don't have one of their scales, and there are no ads. I have noticed the app crashing when trying to create my own recipes. But as long as you save your work as you go this is not a problem just an annoyance. Also it does have a different look on my iPad that on my phone, on the iPad it is viewed horizontally more like a cookbook, and on the iPhone it is viewed vertically, I have not seen a way to change this. I personally like the way it looks on both of them but it is different and at first it was kind of weird. I love that I can create a login on my iPad which is what I mainly use in the kitchen and my phone always has the same information. I can create shopping list on my iPad for the ingredients I need, and when I go to the store with my iPhone and my shopping list is there for me. All in all this is the most amazing cooking app I have ever found and I have had several of them. It takes 100% of the guesswork out of breakfast lunch and dinner it makes cooking even more fun because I don't even have to think about it, especially on complicated recipes, I just follow the prompts and I'm rewarded with nice tones every step of the way!

For some reason the videos on iPad aren’t playing again. The load and you can see the video bar moving but no visuals are shown. Working fine on iPhone

Happy to report that Apple seems to have fixed this under iOS 15.1, released today. Let me know if you’re not seeing that. Previous response: We’re still trying to track down this video playback problem. Question: which version of iOS are your devices running?Original response: (re: question on availability.) Although we’re out of Perfect Bake scales right now, the Perfect Blend ones are still available, and are fully compatible (although without the cool colored bowls).
No longer connects to Vitamix scale

I used to love this app, and would have given it 5 stars. However, now it doesn’t connect to the Vitamix version of the scale. The Perfect Blend app does. And support has been silent, not even acknowledging the support ticket.
