For additional perks, Premium subscriptions are available for purchase within the app.
A BiggerCity Premium plan subscription is valid for the time period you select: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged the listed renewal price within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period. Subscriptions can be managed directly from your device through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

I’m mostly happy with this app, as it’s one of the very few that cater to the gay bear/chub community. Many of us big guys don’t feel accepted or sense of belonging in the mainstream gay community, and are usually bullied or rediculed off normal gay dating/hookup apps. Overall I do enjoy this app, but I wish it had more functions like the website has. For instance there is a forum, but it’s only available on the website, and isn’t very active. I for one would use the forums if it were available on this app, and others probably would too, which I think would strengthen the community feeling. Anyway I am grateful for this app even existing, because there are so few places for us to go online to connect with other big guys and our admirers/chasers. Speaking as a member of the community who has felt like a misfit in already misfit community thank you for giving us a place to feel accepted. As a community of misfit misfits we tend to be more open minded and welcoming of other misfits. Join us to help make our community better, we will welcome you with open arms 🤗

I do love the updated interface and very smooth. While this is not a big deal but I want to warn you that there's possibly a bug in the app for iOS. I can't seem to edit profile text in-app. I can't either delete or type anything and I do believe it appears greyed out maybe but I don't actually know. Like I mentioned this is not an issue as I mainly use the web version mostly and since I'm on vacation at the very moment I'm typing this. Just thought to bring it to attention. Other than that this a very lovely app keep up the good work on it!!!!

I’ve really appreciated the BC community for my years as a premium member. It is definitely more than a dating app. It’s a great place to connect with others who don’t quite fit in to the Grindrs of the gay app world. I’ve met several friends (and potentially more.)I really appreciate the improvements the app has made over the past several months - particularly the disappearing photo option. Their team has been responsive (which feels all but unheard of) and puts on a number of live events… I’m hoping to make it out to my first one soon. I do echo what others have said about wishing that features from the website like the forum and chat were available on the app, but I somewhat trust that they are trying to figure out a way to do it well.Thanks for building us such a great app, BC!! Keep those improvements coming!

I was solicited more than once to sell myself to human trafficking on here several years ago, a lot of endless harassment in DMs, and for the record limited blocks (block number cap) does not work. Not a good experience at all, unfortunately moderators didn’t do much to help either they kept acting like what people did was fine. I kept blocking guys that didn’t get the point of no more than once because they kept making new accounts to try to talk to me, and moderators just let that slide by. I reported stuff frequently and those reports just went nowhere acting like guys were ok when it was extremely disturbing and abusive like language when I said no to guys. It shouldn’t become traumatic and feel dangerous trying out a site/app and this one was.
