Disappointing update

I avoided updating this app for a very long time because I loved it so much and I have found that usually updates are not improvements. Unfortunately I decided to go for it and immediately regretted it. I not only completely regret updating this app but I am shocked at how much was removed!! It is not even close to being the same app I originally downloaded and I would like to remove this update. Of course that’s not possible so I will eventfully delete it. Thanks for ruining a good thing.

Thank you for letting me know, and I’m so sorry you can’t access the old filters. I had to update the previous version to keep up with iOS changes, and I realize this is a big shift for people who loved the original filters and effects.We released a new version this week, and another update is planned in the next month or two. I’ll be looking at which past filters and overlays can be brought back from the original app. I’d love to make Rainbow Love the app you come back to for your creative posts.Please feel free to reach out through in-app support if you want to share more feedback — I always read those messages.

Not very intuitive, it was hard to navigate the features and save my photos as I wanted to. It's overpriced, only certain features are unlocked but you have to sift through them all to figure out which ones. As you try to find the ones you CAN use every one that you cannot use will prompt you to purchase it for $.99 or more, the majority of the features cost money to unlock. Could be glitchy too because after I used a particular feature and then accidentally hit the back button deleting it, when I tried to use it again it was suddenly locked and the app asked me to purchase it. The app has some really cute filters and features but it was extremely disappointing to find out that I could use barely any of them and that the app was unintuitive to navigate. It needs a lot of improvements before it can really enjoyed. The non-lite version might be a better option for you if you actually want to use what this app has to offer. This lite version is a waste of purchase if you ask me.

This app has so many cool features, but it's extremely user unfriendly and slow. It gets stuck in thinking/loading mode and takes forever to load anything. Also, there is no back button in the most inconvenient times. You end up having to start over and start over. By the third time I had to shut the app down completely and lose my previous work, I was too frustrated to give it another go. What's the point of giving out free filters if I can't even navigate my way there. It's really too bad, because I can tell a lot of thought went into making this app look good....but not enough time went into making it practical and useful.

Since you wrote this we've released a major update to the app with the hope of making it much more user friendly and hope you'll give it another chance. Also, as for the speed of the app - it operates well only when you are connected to WIFI. Disruptions in WIFI or using cellular data, will slow the app speed and can cause crashes. To avoid WIFI disruptions you can also turn off "fetch all data" in your Mail app so that you're email only downloads new mail when you open the app and that will also help a lot.
