Labels and Databases 4+

I bought this overpriced software because of its ability to input coordinates for custom labels. The problems encountered were a lack of enough cordinate resolution and the inability to print more than one design on a sheet at a time. For my needs this software is very tedious to use. I would have to first adjust the template measurements, before using a new label product, which is understandable, but having to print one label, adjust an offset, install another design, reload the page in the printer, print it and then repeat for any other labels is to tedious for the money it costs. This program is useable, but barely.

this product is for printing labels with different data from databases. The idea is that users often need the similar looking labels or cards with different information. Say personalized letters, cards, invitations, etc., such as form letters that are printed and sent to different people at the same time. So the product has two modules, the advanced label designer, and powerful database manager.

Purchased version 1.6.0 for the purpose of creating attendee badges for a genealogy conference. Exported badge data into a CSV file from the conference registration app. Successfully imported that into a new database for this app. Then created the badges which included five centered lines of text, a logo graphic and 4 border graphics. Found the app easy to use (e.g., drag and drop for the graphics insertion) and am completely satisified with the result. But there were a few bumps in the road which is why it lost one star.
1) When changing to which field each CSV file column mapped, dragging the destination field into position worked better when I held down the shift key.
2) Could not center first and last name fields on the same line without a lot of embedded space between them. Solved problem concatenating them into one column in the CSV file before importing.
3) App has an extremely comprehensive list of output form templates. It lacked the exact one I was looking for (AVERY 5392), but I found an equivalent. You can also create custome ones.
4) Online help is very good but does not address all the controls. More control pop-up definitions would be useful.

Poor usability. Printing simple address labels is impossible, and directions lead to non-existant options. How can we trust a software writer who's own website in unsafe. No https:// showing security certificate. MAC wanrs 'unsafe website

It seems to be just a misunderstanding, other users do not experience problems with printing simple address labels. The statement about the software being bad just because of developers' website is unsafe looks doubtful.
