Prion is an easy-to-use app to communicate, document and manage administration in preschools. The platform consists of optional product modules that can be adapted to the preschool's needs.
As a guardian, Prion makes it easy to take part in your child's development and learning, keep up to date on practicalities and communicate with the preschool about your child's schedule. Exactly which functions that are available to you depends on what your preschool has activated.
Our goal at Prion is to give preschool teachers and parents the best technology and user experience to make everyday life as smooth and joyful as possible. We are constantly working to improve the interface, speed and add more functionality.
Below is more information about the modules for pedagogical documentation and attendance as well as the schedule:
The documentation module contains features such as:
- Create documentation on individual and group level
- Multi-media support for images, movies, links and texts in various formats
- Scanner for drawings
- Send "digital notes"
- Comment feature
- Support for documenting a process over time
- Connect documentation to the preschool's curriculum goals
- Filter documentation based on curriculum goals
- See statistics on curriculum work and aggregated at different levels
- Add your own goals or focus areas in addition to the curriculum goals
- Push notifications to guardians and teachers
- Automatic reminders
- Translation of written text into any language
- See who has seen the posts
- Etc.
Attendance & schedule contains:
- Create base schedules
- Create deviations from base schedule
- Lock the schedule for editing for a certain period of time
- Report absence
- Communication between preschool and parents about pick-up / drop-off
- Check in and out children in a department
- Check in and out children at preschool
- Push notifications for schedule changes to both teacher and parents
- See an overview of the schedule this week and in the coming weeks
- See the actual presence back in time
- Etc.
