Build theory worksheets, scales, rhythms and practice exams in minutes. Print or share as PDF. Free to download.
Make music theory worksheets, scales, rhythm exercises and full practice exams in minutes, on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Mustud is built for music teachers, students and parents. Pick the exercises you want, choose the settings, and a beautifully engraved worksheet is ready to print or share as a PDF. Great for AMEB, ABRSM and school music practice.
WHAT YOU CAN MAKE
• Name the notes, write the notes, or add the clef, in treble, bass, alto and tenor
• Scales in any key: major, natural, harmonic and melodic minor, with slurs, scale degrees and note names
• Generated melodies in the key you choose, with the rhythm you choose
• Rhythm exercises: complete the bar, add the time signature, add the bar lines, and rhythm sums
• Key signatures to name or to write, and intervals to name or to write
• Staves in any size, side by side or stacked, with captions
• Guitar chord diagrams, chord boxes and fretboards, keyboards, images, text and writing lines
• Student details with name, date and score boxes, and question banners like a real exam paper
HOW IT WORKS
Mustud doesn't make you drag things around a page. You add fragments to a list, tap one to change its settings, and the page is laid out for you. Tap New Notes, New Rhythm or New Melody for fresh exercises in a second.

I like it but I think there could be more features so far. For example being able to bold and move words to the right/center/left like on a regular word document as well as make things bold or italicized. The barebones of it is good but I wish I could write on top of the keyboards or staff instead of just pasting a blank one. Something like me doing AP theory worksheets where I give the Roman numeral notation and write stuff on the staff

Terrific idea for an app, and I’m glad it exists. Saves me a lot of time compared to traditional music notation software, which can be super clunky for creating music pages with interspersed text, like worksheets and study guides. Now, if I could have one wish, it would be to add a function to divide the grand staff and lines fragments into a set number of measures, instead of having to print and hand-draw your own bar lines if you need them. If I could have a second wish, it would be an option to save your own frequently-used fragments (for example, a grand staff with no time signature, instead of having to manually remove the default 4/4).All in all, well worth the price!

Great tool for teachers, students and professionals!!!

Initially on my iPad there were a couple issues with editing, but after talking to developer, he took suggestions and implemented.I normally take notes on paper, but to carry those around and flip through the many pages, they just wear out. So now I take my notes and combine them into these mustud files, then just export to a PDF so I can easily view full screen. Very nice!!One improvement which would remove my step to a PDF, is the ability to view the page full screen within the app. Maybe I’m missing that function, but that would be helpful.Keep up the good work, really a great tool for any musician, beginner to pro.
