Excellent App. I have been looking at various tabla app for iPad and getting the right sounds and tuning that is in sync with tabla shruthi to play with vocals and instruments has been a challenge. The free version has only a few basic taals with no variations. But the ones there are a joy to play with. Also note that the free app does not support inter app audio and AU. But does run in background. In spite of many limitations, which may be by design constrained in free version, I am rating this 5 stars as the best free tabla app. Yes intrusive ads are frustrating, but once the tabla is playing it does not intrude.i felt it would be remiss if I did not write this review to give the app the credit it truly deserves.

Amazing app! Missing fillers

Love all the various versions of the taals. It would be even more amazing if there was some kind of an intro/filler/ending similar to synthesizer keyboards. It would make the stanza endings/song endings sound even more real!Hope, the developer will notice this review and maybe give some thought into it! :)

I find it to be the better tabla app. I use the free version and am thinking of buying it. I downloaded several apps but eventually I remove them because they don’t t do it like Rhythm with Tabla. I take tabla lessons and I go back to this app every time when I want precision and speed. There are 10 praakarsIn it which is foundation for playing tabla.Much appreciated

Great sound but uses battery in background

Likes: The sound and usability of this app is great. Really enhances my sitar practice. Dislikes: As reported by the iPhone battery monitor, this app has been using lots of power in the background, even though it is not active and not playing sound. I noticed that my battery has gotten a lot worse since I downloaded it, and this must be why.

I noticed that my battery has gotten a lot worse since I downloaded it, and this must be why.

* Fixed crash for devices running iOS version older than 15. * Fixed playback issue after switching from bluetooth headphone or airpods to device speaker.
