Connects to all my smart tv’s except for my insignia Roku tv. It connected ONCE, and then two days later could not discover the Roku tv again. Haven’t been able to connect since and nothing has changed (on the same WiFi at home as is all my other devices). Otherwise works great! Love the control from the app on the phone as well!

I was searching desperately for an app that would allow me to cast from my phone to my tv when I came across Tubio. I figured I would give it a shot. I know everyone has different setups and needs but this app works great for me! I used the free version for a day just to make sure it would meet my needs even at the most taxing times (I sadly have DSL, prayers appreciated). It worked wonderfully so I opted to purchase the ”Premium” version in order to do away with the ads, which really are not nearly as bad as in most apps, and allowed a couple of more options. I realize that you cannot trust many reviews nowadays but I hope my review will help at least a few people to try and hopefully like this little app. -Larry

This app is awful. Who ever is responsible for creating this app should realize they are just funneling money into googles pocket (chrome cast) when they leave something in such a poor state. The only thing I want to use this for is to streak twitch on my TV. With the constant crashing and weird repetitive loops where it keeps playing the same part of the stream over over, it's literally painful to even try and use this app. I will absolutely delete this garbage and pay the 35 bucks to have clean crisp streaming from my IOS device to my TV with chrome cast. This is not worth the frustration. Refreshing every 2 minutes because the streak crashed or is stuck in a feedback loop is literally the worst thing a streaming service like this can have.

Tubio used to be a decent free stream-casting app but the last update undid everything that was good about it. The app freezes every time I open it, on the off chance the app is actually active it either doesn’t properly list where I want to cast to resulting in a guessing game of which I’ll end up casting to (if it even bothers to cast) or does show the list but doesn’t cast at all. Earlier today the app worked fine and I thought it fixed but when I want back to it a few hours later, it was back to completely unresponsive. Someone really needs to update and fix the app because this was perhaps the only good free casting app available.
