This app has stood by me through thick and thin throughout the past few years and every time I seemed to go through something difficult, it weirded me out how relatable the random sayings were that popped up in my notifications. I have seriously loved this app and it’s become a habit to look forward to these sayings from my app that gives me a breath of fresh air every day and helps me feel closer to God. However, today I have some negativity for the first time towards the app. I randomly got a saying that says “ Jesus was trying to come back but Trump stopped him at customs.” I’m not a very political person but when you try to correlate Trump, our president, with God... I don’t see how that ties in to my every day life. What if I didn’t live in America? I’m almost offended that someone tried to push something political into my positive habit of looking forward to a saying that actually matters. Something positive and pushing me to be a better me, Christian or not. I like the saying that draws me in, not make me believe in a biased opinion. Now, I’m debating on deleting the app or not.

Throw the whole app away! Nothing about this app displays Jesus! I had to this app about 5 ago, when I was lost, didn’t know God and was easy deceived by what the world had to offer. Fast forward to August 2020, I had to leave a review just based off the alleged accusations of the owner/ founder and her husband. I am now a born again Christian, my eyes now see things through the Spirit, and no longer of the flesh. I knew this app and the content was a little off back then but it was what I thought I needed because I didn’t have a relationship with God I sought everything He has to offer, in things, people and foolish feel good quotes like on this app. But of course I went with it thinking all I needed was positivity to keep me going lol. Boy was wrong, and this app did nothing for me at all! Long story short, I ended up deleting the app and unfollowing the founder on social media, not really knowing the exact reason why... I’m glad I did. Because now looking back, and everybody saying the exact same things about her and her endeavors.. (I can’t speak on the allegations part) only this app.. God was revealing it me before I even knew what He was revealing. And I’m forever thankful. This app is deceiving, and enticing to young girls especially that are lost and don’t know Jesus for themselves. This ain’t it! Please be careful when following these “influencers” on social media. It’s not real! Ask God to open your eyes and resist the temptations and deceptions of this world!

I used to really love this app. I got it after a breakup and everything it said seemed to be the Lord speaking to me. Then things began to get political - Jesus is still king over our president, even if this app doesn’t view things the way Trump does. I’m not saying I do, but I would appreciate my unbiased app to stay that way. Now it’s the Christmas season, and I’ve seen several notifications for advertisements about their products and a few random “encouraging” messages about being careful not to give everyone your presents and intimacy as a gift on Christmas. Like I tell the preschoolers I teach Bible to, Christmas is NOT about the presents or even gift giving. Christmas is about one thing and because of that one thing, we are able to celebrate everything else. I am disappointed that Sprinkle of Jesus said nothing about our Savior’s birth. Nothing about His birthday, nothing about the Christmas story or even the true meaning of Christmas. There was no holiday encouragement except to keep my gift of - what I read to be - my sexuality. I have been on the fence for a while about this app, and the lack of including Jesus in Christmas messages was the final straw I cannot overlook. I really hope Sprinkle of Jesus re-evaluates it’s mission and how to accomplish that new vision. Maybe Jesus Christ can be at the center of it. Until then, I have another app downloaded called Eternal Sunshine and I am really enjoying its messages so far.

i was recommended this by a girl in my yearbook class freshman year. she always talked about how it motivated her throughout the day and never failed to make her smile. i got the app and each notification was relevant to what i needed to hear. but then, that changed in November. i barely got my daily notifications i was promised. i started to question if the app was still up and running, but i kept getting the annoying “expand your business with us!” notifications and i wouldn’t be questioned. i was on my phone one night on the way home and all these alerts came up, and it was them sending out missed days of alerts. i got quite annoyed with it, as i was supposed to get them at a certain time. i then stopped getting them completely in February, and noticed beforehand that they were repeated to what i’ve seen before. i then deleted the app in late May after finding out the company isn’t really Christian based at all, it’s just motivational quotes they pull out of archives. if you want to support a Christian based company that will send our Christian based quotes instead of society standpoint, check out Eternal Sunshine. it has replaced my Sprinkle of Jesus and is the cutest app!! no annoying alerts like this app does. i used to vibe with this, but i couldn’t after hearing the true basis of the company. truly disappointed.
