iPadOS 26/27 UI adaptations • The user interface has been adapted to support continuous horizontal and vertical window resizing introduced with iPadOS 26. Views are no longer displayed at a fixed scale and now adapt to the available window size. • Several navigation and utility buttons, including Info and Dark Mode, have been moved into a new menu. • The tab bar has been removed. Handbook, Braking Coefficient, and Cold Temperature Correction are now accessible through the menu. • Various minor UI improvements and bug fixes.

The manual has been updated. The app has been adapted for Apple silicone Macs. The pinch gesture for the zoom has been reprogrammed and the swipe gesture between the 3 main windows has been deactivated to avoid unwanted interference.

Automatic shifting to the graphical view after entering mandatory values removed. Minor design changes in the navigation bar to differentiate between shifting and action. Overlapping elements are better displayed when moving the yellow dot. When changing the range using a pitch gesture, a crash occurred very rarely, which is not reproducible to date. Error prevention, error handling and error correction have been added to prevent this from happening.

The number of whole DME values displayed in a split view table has been increased. Display improvements for the IPAD Mini 6.

Split View, Slide Over And Screen Rotation The app has been rewritten from scratch to support multitasking and different screen sizes, including portrait and square windows. For small window sizes the graphical interface is replaced by a simple table with corrected values. It has also been adapted to current and future iOS specifications.

More Accurate Calculation Method According ICAO PANS OPS Doc 8168 a correction of 4 per cent height increase for every 10°C below standard temperature is safe for all altimeter settings for temperatures above -15°C. For temperatures of -15°C or below a more accurate tabulated correction or its underlying equation should be used. The calculation of all corrected altitudes is changed to the more accurate equation, regardless of the temperature. Additional Altitude, DIST To THR or DME An additional altitude may be entered to show its corrected value. The corrected altitude will be shown as a green horizontal line and/or a green dot on the vertical profile. Instead of an altitude you can also enter a "distance to threshold" respectively DME value. Adjustments To Different Screen Sizes Increased the number of entries in the distance-altitude table: - by 1 entry for iPad Pro 10.5 and iPad Air 3rd gen. - by 2 entires for iPad Pro 11.0 - by 3 entries for iPad Pro 12.9
