I recently attended an event that had a contract with BallerTV to use their service to cover all the competition rings during the event. I think the company has a lot of potential, I know that the company uses semi and professional quality equipment. However there are things that the company does, that keeps the company from blowing up and succeeding to the fullest potential, here are the cons I have found - the company uses newer iPhones to cover the events. while the newer iPhones provides good quality, camera technology, it’s not considered to be professional equipment, the live video feed that is being taken from the iPhone has heavy software edits which has limitations - the company uses 180° wide angle iPhone lenses, while 180° is great to cover the area, it does provide a ton of distortion, low quality resolution and even more. - in order for you to watch the live stream, the only way to is through the app. -despite having to pay for a pass to watch the event, you can technically watch previews that last a minute and the timer does reset. So technically you can watch the livestream without paying for a pass, despite the advertisement of paying for a pass, to watch the event. My thoughts, this company has a lot of potential but does constantly limit the ability to grow and expand the quality and audience.

Downloaded the app to watch my son play in a tournament that I wasn’t able to attend. The quality of the video was horrible. I couldn’t tell what kid was on the field and most of the time the camera didn’t follow the ball. The score of the game or how much time was left was never updated. Maybe I had to upgrade for that? In the background I could hear coaches and parents yelling and cussing. The price to download the app didn’t allow for live streaming which I had to pay extra for a 3 month subscription for a one weekend tournament. It’s better to have a parent video the game than to download this app. Maybe for other sports it’s clearer, but highly recommend not worth it for football games. Also, it wouldn’t allow me to login to the app to watch the games live. I had to reset my password each time which took me to my default browser to watch the videos.

Spent $150 to watch my son play and did the upgrade so we could watch it live and his grandparents could watch with me. First half ends and still not live feed to watch. Also, multiple replays able to be watched….but that’s only if they have the staff and ability to get the cameras up and working as they are advertised to do so for the games to begin. Multiple games not recorded because they weren’t up and ready. So now that’s at least 1 game completely missed and so far still no live feed for this game. No wonder why you only get a limited number of live feeds because they can’t deliver them to you on time anyway. They clip each one out and the processing time backs them up. They could upgrade their systems and/or get more staff but….you don’t get what is advertised to you so save your money.

I wish they would just play each court games live video all day long instead of trying to stop and upload then restart the live. You end up missing half the game live cause it takes a while to restart the live camera. Instead put court 9 camera and I can just scroll back if I need or want to rewatch the game from earlier. Now trying to watch the finals and the live stream cut off cause it SHOULD be time for the next game but since that game isnt starting in time we are missing the finals. Leave the live on all day and stop cutting it. People can go back and watch the earlier games if wanted!I also wish they let you pay for event instead of having to get 3 months. Def don’t need 3 months want to watch live that’s why I got it.
