Absolutely amazing AI, not-so-amazing app or pricing

I use a mac. Do not download the Liner AI app off the App store, just download it off the web. This app store one is based off the ipad and is super buggy, slow, and uncustomizable on macbook. However, if u do get the web download app version, this AI is amazing, with a twist. It is absolutely wonderful to use for research. Is the app very CPU-load heavy? Sure. But there is not a single AI that can beat this in terms of low hallucinations and accurate research. The second catch other than to not dowload the app from the app store is that this AI is expensive. 1000 credits a month for 15$ a month (paid yearly btw) equates to make 5-6 questions on the really advanced research stuff with Liner Scholar or Liner Write. The good thing tho is that Liner sometimes reimburses u credits (500 usually) if the ai agent doesn’t do something correctly or if u test some new features.
Hard not to think of this as a scam.

Honestly, I used this service once and it was just ok. It wasn’t reliable enough for me to use on a regular basis. I meant to try and use it more often but my mind was someplace else. It was a terrible year for all of us. Up until then the service was adequate. Since it needed to be more reliable it only deserves 3.5 stars from me. However, my efforts to try and cancel my subscription have been completely ignored. There is no way to cancel the subscription on line. A subscription that I honestly do not remember opting into to renew. I received an email a few weeks ago warning me that my subscription was about to automatically renew. I had to cancel to avoid charges. The emails sent me to their website and gives you instructions to go to this link then click on this then that and when you get there there’s text that in order to cancel subscription you must submit the cancellation by email. I did. However, my credit card was still charged. I emailed them again asking about the charge and I once again expressed my desire to cancel and demanded a full refund. My email was ignored. On Friday, I opened a ticket using their customer service client online. It is now Monday and I have not heard one peep from them. Not one email, text, or smokes signals. Nothing. It is extremely difficult to not view their lack of response or acknowledgement as nothing but fraud. They leave me no choice but to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

I cannot understand how me making a simple request to fix my grammar on Please correct my grammar and spelling don’t change the words “ that statement is so hurtful . Women and girls around the globe suffer just for the fact they they are women . Womanhood is not a costume , it is not transphobia it’s the fact. We are not cis women we are simply women . Woman are persecuted under Sharia law , women and little girls are mutilated for having female body parts . Women endure so much and there is nothing in this world more beautiful than the God given power to build life . We must protect our girls , period pains and disorders that come from it aren’t something that is “Gatekept “ it’s a grooling process . Women’s health care is overlooked , companies poison our tampons , women’s necessity’s are filled with chemicals that hurt our reproductive organs . Women’s menopausal healthcare is not taken seriously.” Cannot be done because it is deemed as hateful . I have written many opposing essays claiming the opposing argument and have never had an issue . This app is political and promotes propaganda. I am utterly disgusted as I am simply unable to understand where that essay was disrespectful. I love everyone . The AI has me links to me saying I am “gaslighting them “ and I find that unpleasant. I will submit a screen recording if you can provide a email to do so .I PAYED 200$ FOR THIS

New Restrictions to Basic Version

I have had the basic version for some time now. I rated it three stars due to equal my love/hate of the app. For function, it’s great - based on that alone I’d give it 4 stars. There are enough little things that would keep me from rating a full five stars, but nothing major. I used to use it quite a bit and was fine with the color limitations of the basic version, etc. I don’t utilize it enough to justify the subscription. However, recently - the last several months perhaps? - I’ve been limited to 7 highlights per article/doc. This is a deal breaker. I don’t use it enough to buy a subscription, not even at a fraction of what it costs. But b/c the app itself is not terrible, and the creators obviously have an vested interest making money in order to keep the app current and adding improvements, so I can’t pan the whole app just for that. For the purposes of a bare bones basic plan, I wish you’d raise the cap for highlights. I’m not a prolific highlighter, but I usually use it for length articles in order to pare it down to the bare minimum. I hit the limit every time now. I’ll keep checking in for awhile to see if they change the cap, otherwise I’ll look for another solution.
