Great Simple App

No upsells, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions... it's so nice to find a simple utility that just does one thing well.One annoyance is that it seems to keep asking for ratings and reviews, regardless of whether you already *have* submitted a rating or review. It should really only ever ask for a rating/review once at most, so I hope the developer does fix that in the future. It's the only annoying thing about this otherwise flawless app!

In theory it’s nice that the app got such a big update. Yet I don’t find it all that compelling. I use this app for 1 thing and 1 thing only. To set a timer that prevents my Mac from sleeping. But now that single feature is now it’s been totally screwed up. And while I don’t have a problem with the developer trying to further monetize their app. I do have a problem with how such a simple feature ended up getting buried so badly. First, I liked having the list of preset minutes / hours, yet now I can’t find it. Use to be able to click the Menu Bar icon and get the list. Now it’s seemingly gone, even tried disabling the right / left click options for the icon. But all that gives me is the single click to enable the default time. And while it’s nice that you can customize that, it’s a little annoying that the list of options is gone. Want to improve the app, give me back the list of options and let me customize them! Second, I don’t want a keyboard shortcut, so why can’t I remove it! On the plus side, I do like that the “new” features “seemingly” do not show in the app when they are disabled and only appear in the settings area.

it keeps disappearing from my status bar. I have to keep searching for it. This is my second machine with this mighty plugin installed and it has happened again.I hope that this little bug gets fixed as this is a HANDY utility because video is a huge part of my workflow. Can't have my machine falling asleep on the job.

I appreciate the dev is trying to innovate but I’m not sure if it’s the right direction. The old app was a focused utility that was fast and reliable. It did one thing well. The new update gives away vibe coding feelings and has quite a few small bugs. Things like selecting a keeping awake length now requires a few more clicks.Personally, I do not care for the new features and think they belong to a different app. There also seems to be some memory issues as the memory usage goes over 300MB after about 30 mins’ use.
This update fixes a bug that caused the menu bar icon to display incorrectly. Also, in rare cases, “Keep Awake” could turn itself off: this now works flawlessly as well.
