Fleet Cost & Care’s (FCC) Atom application delivers the relevant information for field employees to stay connected when out of the office. Its automated solution for e-ticketing captures all the critical details of the job and enables users to leverage the power of the device through quick access to other utilities like the camera, phone, and email apps that are already present.
Easily track all your people and fleet resources throughout the day with remote access to unit and employee schedules and available resources. Quickly make last minute scheduling changes from anywhere.
Field employees can work in remote conditions without connectivity concerns – all e-tickets can be completed without any service connection (requires e-ticket to be downloaded prior to losing service).
Checklists afford field employees the opportunity to report deficiencies, whether job related, or unit related, to those who need to know. If a unit needs a repair, the user just has to mark the deficiencies and maintenance will take it from there.
Quoting customers no longer has to be a drawn-out process – with Atom, users can complete a quote while conducting job walks or from their vehicle and can email or post DocuSign envelopes to further automate and expedite the quoting process. Need to make sure you capture job site conditions? Access the camera directly from the quote and take as many pictures as necessary to convey conditions – all images are accessible in NexGen, the desktop application, within seconds (requires network connection).

I wish that the user interface on the iPad would be the same as though you are using NexGen on a PC. THAT WOULD REALLY BE AWESOME! PC interface with touch screen capability! As it is right now, one that I can recall is that you can’t add new customers info when using NexGen Atom.

The ability to create work orders, enter labor, and capture signatures on a job site with our tablets and smartphones is amazing! Work performed in the field is immediately accessible to our office staff! I highly recommend scheduling a demo and seeing it for yourself! Especially if you’re looking to reduce operating costs and increase profit margins.
Save yourself the headache

My employer uses this app to track our hours. I would rather write them down on a sheet of paper, and drive that sheet of paper an hour away to the shop to turn them in. I would go above and beyond to never touch this app again. Every update somehow brings a more annoying stupid issue that makes the app even more unusable. They constantly surprise me with how inconvenient they can make something as simple as reporting hours.

The system automatically log you out which is frustrating when service isn’t good and the customer has to sit there and wait for the connection so I can log back in to get him to sign my ticket. It has twice gone down for days which means I had to manufacture the times on tickets from 2 days passed the. Pay someone to go and get the ticket signed. It’s terrible. I’d give it a zero but they don’t give that option.
