Organize your team's shifts in one place: ask for availability, fill the schedule by hand or automatically, publish it, and keep your staff informed with messages.
Siby is a shift scheduling app for teams. Admins build the schedule and keep their staff informed. Staff say when they can work, and see their shifts and messages on their iPhone or iPad.
FOR ADMINS
• Design a schedule template once: your own columns, lines and sections, how many people each shift needs, and how many shifts one person may hold in a column or a line. A shift can also be set to "No limit" or "Closed".
• Or base a template on the days of the week: each schedule gets one column per date, and each weekday can need a different number of people.
• Ask your team for availability with a reply-by date. Siby sends a reminder to those who haven't answered, and you can nudge them too.
• See every answer in one grid: how many can work in each shift, and who said Desired, Available or Unavailable.
• Fill the schedule by hand. Siby warns you when someone said they're unavailable, lacks a skill the shift needs, or would go over a cap.
• Or use "Fill automatically": Siby follows your "Priority list", in the order you choose, "In list order" or "Evenly". It fills only the empty spots and never places someone who said they're unavailable or lacks the skill a shift needs.
• Or use "Copy from an earlier schedule" to bring the names from an earlier schedule made from the same template into a draft. Before you copy, Siby lists every warning and every shift that can't be copied.
• Share a draft with the other admins for review, then publish it to the whole department.
• Change a published schedule whenever you need to. The people affected are told, and a change log keeps the history.
• Add comments and notes to the schedule and to single shifts.
• Open "Statistics" for a schedule, and "Reports" for a department: everyone's shifts over a range of days.
• Send a message to one department, several, or the whole organization. See who has read it, and remind those who haven't.
• Give other admins only the permissions they need, per department.
FOR STAFF
• Answer availability requests in a few taps: Available, Desired or Unavailable.
• See the whole published schedule, and your own shifts in a list.
• Get a notification when a schedule is published, your shifts change, or an admin sends you a message. Everything also waits in the in-app inbox.
• Read messages from your admins and mark them read with a swipe or a tap on "Mark as read".
• Read your schedule without a connection.
