Sooooo before I get into the positives, I usually read a couple of the reviews. I purposely look for bad reviews to see what those guys have to say, and quite honestly - all you 1 star peeps are Wrong!! I don't know if the reviews are ancient, but if it's recent you, as the end-user, is at fault, not the app! I am inclined to believe there might be something wrong with your phone, or you are adding the wrong areas or something, cause I ain't experiencing anything you oakes are moaning about.I find the app brilliant. Easy to use. Accurate. Location searching, adding etc. easy. There's nothing to it, and that's what makes it great for the purpose it serves (theee annoying Load Shedding...)Good job "Jeff" 🤙🏻
Great relevant functional critical (SA) app

Well done guys … this app is practical and accurate. Its become a household name … households depend on it … whether you are on the grid or off it. My 84 year old Aunt uses it - I just explained to her in a WhatsApp message how to click through to see the detail for upcoming loadshedding periods - and she was able to do it by herself - that’s a testimony to great usability. Here is what she said - “ Thanks so much for that info and help!! I tried it now and see.” PS: how about inverting the little icon that looks like an upside down 3 pin plug ? By this I mean the icon between the Time and the Stage 12:00 - 14:30 ^ Stage 6 Then it will look like an (SA) 3 point plug

Unfortunately South African people must have an app that tells us when we will be without one of Man’s greatest creations. Benjamin Franklin is rolling in his grave. But it is not the developer’s fault. So he(or she or they) has created an app that is not only useful but gives us a platform to complain about the heat or how we can’t binge watch our favorite shows on Netflix. The app is very useful and helps me to keep up with the inevitable news that I may very well be in the dark tonight. Tip: set notifications so that the app will remind you that you will be powerless 55 and 15 minutes before God says let there be dark. Five stars.

This app is really useful (which is rare for apps)! As a very busy work from home mother of a young daughter, having the potential down times for the day and even the week ahead makes a massive difference to my life. The fact that it notifies me and I don’t have to go looking for the information put out by Eskom or CoCT, which I rarely have time to do, is awesome. A heads up to allow me to plan meals, charge what needs charging and heat what needs heating makes the insanity of living in loadshedding more manageable. Highly recommend.
