As a CCF alumni and an academic cardiac surgeon it bothers me that the developers still haven’t corrected their calculation tool(s). I just downloaded the app, June 2019, and the BMI calculator is still way off. In my wife’s case 10 points, ending up at 32 = obese, instead of 22 = normal weight. We both participate in the UCSF Brain Health Registry, and Instead of spending resources on putting a bad app on the market, they rely on “old fashioned” web access. So I deleted the app! As medical professionals we have both created and participated in questionnaires, and we recognize a poor one, when we see it. This is one of them.My advice: scrap it and start over.

This app took me a bit to answer all the questions but it was worth it. I was able to see graphically where my issues were and the tips on each area gave me ideas on how to improve my lifestyle. I like to go in once a month and answer the physical and food pillars to see if my changes have made a difference. I recommend this for everyone.

Registration seems broken as of February 2, 2020 (the issue is the same on HealthyBrains.org as well). I’m unable to try the app as a result. Blerg.
