Perfect, thank you. I had some difficulty with the merge on the second use which was absolutely stupid user error (Charkey - error between the chair and the keyboard). Don’t forget to make the correct selection at the main menu. You only have three options. This is not hard. :) For the price, this is fantastic. Don’t expect anything other than exactly what’s advertised. A note on the file types that can be handled - there’s going to be an issue with the Apple m4a files. Convert to Windows Media files (WMV), merge (or trim or…) and export back to m4a. As of now there are still free WMV AVI converters for the Mac.Notes: If believe you need instructions, you aren’t going to have a user guide so take a deep breath and think it through. You may have some trial and error before you get what you’re looking for but since the functionality is very simple and everything is on the main menu (don’t bother with the menu bar), if you’re patient the probability that you’ll work it out is very high. For example, on export, if everything you want to merge has been imported to the left panel, select the button in the lower right corner which is labeled ‘export video’. It may be counter intuitive if you’re working with sound and you haven’t actually selected anything but you will get an exported file with the name of the currently selected (or last imported) file in your list.When trimming, use caution in location setting with that green arrow. If you click a couple of times and end up with multiple selections (overlapping arrows), you get a few chunky trims where you might not want them. I’m still not sure exactly what I did. When I went back in to correct the trim, it was pretty straight forward but I could see how multiple splits or trims could be made accidentally. Take the time to add artwork and edit the title and additonal information on the right. In the end, it’s probably going to matter. You’ll still probably have to edit the file name after export but the rest of the information should show up in properties. Hope this helps. Sure my software libnrary has more sophisicated software for audio editing, but none of them are as easy and quick as this program. When you don’t have time to use the complex … this app is for you. I can turn around an email or FB audio quick as quick as you can spell "Audio Trim”. Perfect.

I’ve only had this a day so I may be missing something. But it sure would be helpful if the app recognized silence between tracks to facilitate splitting a long track automatically.Other than that very simple to use and well worth $5.

Simple and effective. I use it for audio files only so a little disorienting to click "Export Video" when finished editing. Other than that, good!
