Battery Health & Life Monitor shows how long your MacBook can keep running under the current load, not just the remaining battery percentage.
The time estimate updates with current power usage, so you can see how quickly the battery is draining and how much time is left before you need to charge.
In addition to remaining time, the app shows battery health, cycle count, current and maximum capacity, temperature, voltage, current, and power usage. When your MacBook is connected to power, you can also view charging details and adapter power.
The main information is available directly from the menu bar. For more detailed battery data, open the menu while holding the Option key.

Much more Reliable
Bow 2 Mii
This battery app is very useful. It is way better than the original system's battery indicator. One of the things that I liked about this app is having the time remaining integrated into the battery icon. With Apple removing this feature on their battery, using this app is more convenient when the "estimated time" is displayed immediately without having to click on the icon. Another feature that I find very useful for this battery app is the ability to show your battery statistics. The stats really help to see if you are in need of replacing your Mac battery or not based on its condition. One feature that I hope could be added in the next updated version would be the ability to indicate that the battery has became very low. This integration can be adressed by making the battery icon become a red icon when it has reached to 5% or 10%. This feature would be very convenient since it can alert users immediately that their Mac needs to be pluged in to avoid an "immediate shutdown".
Shows Green in Menu Bar

Works well, but when plugged in the battery icon is a solid green color, which is distracting in the menu bar. Please provide a "black/white" version.
The feature that Apple forgot

I was looking for an app that would put a simple battery runtime in the task bar. This app is stable, reliable, and gives me the information I want and no more. Apple could take a lesson from this app.
Where’s the green icon?
BuellerCA
As dumb as this sounds I really wanted a green icon in my menu bar for my battery icon, mostly to break up the monotony of all the white text and icons. Plus I thought it was cool it matched my iPhone. With the update the green icon is gone. Not even an option to use the plain white/black one. It was uninstalled as soon as I discovered that.
Improved battery monitoring and compatibility with the latest macOS version.
