Whether you’re a wine novice or a seasoned oenophile, keeping track of your favourite wines can be a challenge. Traditionally, wine evaluation involves recording detailed observations and perceptions of wine sensory properties, with ‘tasting notes’ usually being recorded in a diary or journal. However, these can be cumbersome, messy and easily lost or damaged. My Wine World was developed by the University of Adelaide as a learning tool for winemaking and wine marketing students – i.e. to provide objective training in the evaluation of wine appearance, aroma, taste and mouthfeel.
But why should students have all the fun? The app can be used by anyone who enjoys wine.
My Wine World allows you to keep track of your wine tasting experience by recording your tasting notes, quality ratings and even photographs of front and back labels, so you can keep track of your favourite wines. You can even share your recommendations with friends via social media.
