This app is great and easy to use. And I will be using it regularly ... when it is fixed. The fact that it is university supported is a plus. Two flaws, one of them major though. 1) phone camera from within the app does not function to take picture of bottle labels. 2) most importantly, it keeps forgetting what you save and your wines resulting a a huge waste of time and effort. The label is a nice plus but I can live with. But the latter issue is crucial and renders the app unusable. Nothing more frustrating than reopening the app a day later and having it ask for your email again and find out that all your work imputing wines is gone.

This is a good, useful and helpful app for those of us who are still trying to develop a nose, a palate, and a vocabulary. I took the online course on edX put on by the U of Adelaide and this is related. I have minor complaints about the inability to edit reviews and to delete entries that got messed up. I also find the sensitivity of the menus on my iPhone to be sub-optimal. In general, though, I find it helpful and educational.
