This is a years overdue catch-up update with support for the newer iPhones and iPads without Home button (and some minor bug-fixing).

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. Just minor graphical bug-fix.

New tool available: With "Populate calendar", you can now use this app to populate any of you calendar accounts with holydays, nineteenday feasts and other significant days from the Bahá'í calendar. This can be useful if you want to see these dates in e.g. your your work, school or a shared family calendar, or if you just want to see them in other calendar tools using the same account(s); on Mac/PC or in other apps.

Critical fix before upgrading to iOS 10. This update applies to iOS 8 and newer.

This is the last planned bug-fix for iOS 7 and iOS 8. Coming updates will only apply to iOS 9 and onwards, but this version will still appear in App Store for iOS 7 and iOS 8 (older devices). For all devices: - Events created exactly on the dateline (sunset) for Naw Ruz were not shown in the events list: Fixed.

This version makes some adjustments to the Bahá'í date info in the events list. It might be more logical now, and thus easier to read each calendar system individually: Look at the Bahá'í date header to follow the BE dates, or look at the bold system dates to the left of the event to follow your chosen system calendar (Gregorian being the default). The seasons-coloring has also moved to the left side, so it runs more like a continuous thread as you scroll through events. The period of Riḍván is also marked with a rose red thread throughout the festival. And some minor bug-fixes here and there...

Bug-fix for the missing oval marking today's system-date, during Ayyám-i-Há, the fast and Riḍván.

v.1.6.1: - Adjustment for more accurate 3D Touch while pressing on dates from the months view. - In Settings, the "Chinese calendar" is now correctly called "Chinese lunar calendar". Support for 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus: 1. Press the icon to create a new event. 2. Press a date to preview the list of events for that date — and then press a bit harder to open it. 3. Press an event to preview it — and then a bit harder to open it.

Important bug fix: On some devices (specially in the U.S), the first weeks of the months were missing. This update will hopefully solve the problem for all.

Minor update with major benefit ? - You can now choose to show dates as month name + date instead of just the date/month numbers: E.g. "Mar 21" instead of "03/21". This might make it easier to identify and distinguish alternative calendar dates from the Bahá’í dates (a work in constant progress... :-)) Please note: Unfortunately, this settings does not work or even make sense in all languages.

Important note: If you are unable to upgrade to iOS 9 (check Software Update under General in the Settings app, or ask a friend for help), then please let me know through email feedback@bahaicalendarapp.com, and I will keep supporting older versions as long a necessary (and possible). Otherwise, I will stop supporting iOS 7 and iOS 8 in a future update, in order to speed up development, and more easily utilize new technologies. What's new: - Location is now displayed in the events list - iOS 9 fonts (San Francisco) - Minor visual enhancements (- Internal code improvements; preparing for future updates)

I'm happy to announce that you can now select which secondary calendar to use. Choose from Chinese, Indian, Ethiopic, Gregorian (default), Islamic and others, through settings.

A minor visual update with refinements on the events list, to help orientate and follow dates in both calendar systems: - Events are now light gray with a seson-colored thread, just like the months view, so the actual event-contents comes more in focus. - An event without times specified is now labeled "all-day", just like in Apples' calendar. - All Nineteen Day Feasts headings are now colored with the seasons color to make it easier to see the flow of the year as you scroll through.

This is fixed in this version. - The events lists now updates Today when the app resumes directly to the Events view. - The first 19-days feast in a new season has the seasons' color as a bright background. - Events headers are smaller, but adds holydays and other significant days, making them even easier to notice. - Each event show the corresponding system weekday + date making it easier to see the day-flow of both calendars. - A sunset-color has been introduced for events and info related to the period between sunset and midnight within the Bahá’í date. - Color-background for each months-view header of the 1st month of a season - To help see the start/end of dates; date and sunset is shown in the event header for both system-dates that spans the Bahá’í-day. When following natural sunset (by GPS) it shows just "sunset". While following the clock (in the far north) it shows "6 pm". Natural sunset-times are always shown as additional info to the right in the header. - Events that ends exactly at sunset (or 6pm by the clock) is now kept on the same Bahá’í date (not as "Ending" the next date).
