Sleeper is hands-down the best fantasy football app out there, and it’s easy to see why it deserves a full five stars. The app is super user-friendly and makes managing your fantasy team feel smooth and fun. Everything from the draft room to the league settings is customizable, so you can tailor your league exactly how you want it. One of the best parts of Sleeper is the in-app chat feature. It keeps everyone in the league connected, whether you’re hyping up your matchup, talking trades, or roasting your league mates after a bad start. The chat makes the whole experience feel social and competitive at the same time. The notifications are also spot-on. Sleeper doesn’t just give you boring alerts it keeps you updated with breaking news, injury updates, and game highlights, so you’re never out of the loop. And if you’re someone who’s into dynasty leagues or other advanced formats, Sleeper has you covered with features like taxi squads and FAAB bidding. Another big win for Sleeper is how clean and modern the app feels compared to others. There’s no clunky interface or random ads slowing you down, so everything runs smoothly. Whether you're a fantasy veteran or just starting out, Sleeper makes it easy and fun to stay on top of your league. If you’re serious about fantasy football or just want an app that makes it more enjoyable—Sleeper is the way to go. Five stars, no question.
(Almost) The best app for fantasy football

Having used sleeper for a few months now, I have to say it’s an amazing app. The news updates are super handy, the in app league chat is amazing since you don’t have to use another app for talking to league mates, the amount of options available in terms of league settings is amazing and just makes playing on this app more fun than basically every other. It does have a few issues that seem to be present on every app like scores maybe taking a bit to catch up, but it is never really a big issue. The only change I would like to see that would make this app worth five stars is a quality of life one. When viewing your team on the app I don’t see any way to get all (if not most) of your team and their scores in your matchup on the screen at once. Although I do sometimes enjoy the added info and the field position indicator under the player names, I would really love a compressed view where it would hide/get rid of the on field indicator and possibly their game stats for the week. Sometimes I just want to log in and see how all my players did compared to my opponents without having to scroll and dig for certain players. Maybe there could be a button or something similar that says “more matchup info” that would toggle this off and on. Other than this, I don’t really have any complaints about the app and think it is probably the best app for fantasy football currently available.

We made changes to score / pbp speed a while back so hopefully everything is fast for you now. We've profiled it against other apps to make sure Sleeper updates as fast or faster.
Great but some stuff is needlessly complicated
Killersam775
I want to start by saying that I think this app is great and my favorite fantasy app to use. Having said that though there are some things that make it needlessly complicated and could make things even better1) Filling Leagues - I get the idea behind why there isn’t really just like a list of public leagues to join, but there needs to be. The idea being that they want leagues to be filled by people and their friends but this just isn’t always possible. There’s forums to post a league in but your post falls back and you need to repost frequently. There needs to just be a list of public leagues that people can sort by league type, paid or free, size, etc.2) League Formats - There should be presets for the different types of leagues. There should be presets for redraft, dynasty, best ball and guillotine. It can get kind of complicated especially for first time commissioners to set this stuff up and presets for these league types would be great. 3) Payment - They probably don’t want to deal with it but there should be an in-app payment system for paid leagues. Currently outside sites like leaguesafe need to be used which is ok but doing it straight through the app again cuts down on complexity for first time commissioners.
Regret the switch

After years of using ESPN, we switched over to Sleeper. It was my idea as the commissioner, and I wish I hadn’t done it. I used Sleeper in another league and had loved it a few years back, but I hate how they have changed the app and taken away all of the fun things that made me want to bring my main league here in the first place. My most major complaints are that there is little to no player outlooks, rarely game recaps, and it’s almost impossible to find simple things like the waiver wire order, and other basic things that are essential for playing fantasy football. Like, if I need to download another app to find out information about my players, what’s the point of having this app in the first place? ESPN and other apps do both. Feels like a no brainer… From what I hear, this is an app for people who want to be placing bets, but it’s not an app anymore for people who want to have a fun fantasy experience with friends and family. Last, when there is news, the app becomes like the comments section on news reports and social media. Just gross and toxic. That’s fine, but what is annoying is that those news updates are not even linked to the players much of the time so if you are just looking at your team because you’ve turned off alerts, it’s easy to miss things that feel essential to being able to manage your team.
New season, new tools. Introducing SleeperSafe: collect league dues and pay out winners all in the Sleeper app. We've also polished draft and commissioner tools and squashed some bugs. Good luck this season.
