After enjoying this app and following its progress over the past 6 years I’m happy to declare that EGW Writings 2 is by far the best most complete app available on the App Store. The depth of features, the wealth of its resources, the support of multiple languages, all testify to its greatness. Anyone who uses it daily like me will be blown away at how intuitive and simple the app is to use. From My Library, that tracks my books location that I’m currently reading, to the hundreds of available Audiobooks in several languages and it tracks my listening history in everyone of them.I like the available 4 color choices for the app backgrounds, especially the dark mode. I love the provided Subscription plans that automatically deliver at the time of my choosing my devotional book reading, my thought for the day, and the next selection from the book I’m subscribed too, simply brilliant! Best of all I love the Study Center feature. Now that it’s supported by cloud sync that backs up automatically to EGW Cloud servers many years of study of my notes, bookmarks, and highlights, I rest easy knowing if disaster strikes I haven’t lost anything. I love how the Study Center syncs between all my devices. I can seamlessly move between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook study centers and everything I do on each is available to the other device within seconds. Truly a world class app. Lastly but not least, I love the new advanced search features. The multiple search filters that allow me to quickly search for the word or phrase I’m after is par excellence! Been able to quickly sort my search results by collection, date or relevance is fantastic. I simply love this app and I don’t know how I could ever live without it. I use it throughout my day. I have a closer walk with God and my Savior because of this app. Thank you to the White Estate for this app. It’s truly been a blessing.
Appreciate access to all the publications

I’m so happy to have discovered this app with easily transportable publications. One issue I have is with the audio. I like the ability to listen and read at the same time but it could use some improvements. I would like to be able to move forward and back within a chapter without having to start the chapter over again. Also, it would be great to be able to keep my place. If it has been several days since my last session, I can’t always remember what chapter I was listening to. It could use some modernization of narrators and music. The music and introduction to the chapters sounds like it comes from the 1930s and makes me feel talked down to. No music would be fine and a respectful, conversational tone of voice for the introduction to chapters would help. The main narrator mispronounces words - such as pronouncing the silent 2nd a in pharaoh as a long a. When it’s a word that is used over and over again, it makes the listener cringe. I’m sure this would be a huge undertaking to make these changes so let me say again, I really do appreciate your making an app with these publications.
A must have for me
Skyler J. Spellman
This is a must have for me on my phone. This is an invaluable resource, with EGW writings easily accessible for free, along with SDA pioneer writings, some historical writings, references, and audio. Being able to bookmark different spots into different folders is useful. There is much more I haven’t stated here. One complaint I have is not a super big deal, more of a frustration. For certain audio books, not all of them, it will not play the chapters in order. It will play them at random it seems, so when I am done with a chapter in those books I have to manually go back to the chapter screen and find the chapter that was next. This is frustrating when I am working and cannot always easily access my phone right away. I don’t know if there is a random button I pressed on those books, but if there is I cannot find it. But it’s not a big deal compared the absolutely invaluable resource offered to us for free. A truly wonderful app.
Couple bugs

Just want to say first, I really appreciate this app and the ability to have EGW writings with me virtually anywhere. There’s been lots of improvements and I’m grateful for that. Here’s a couple bugs that I would appreciate being fixed. 1) On my iPad (iPad mini 2) for the last several months my EGW app has crashed randomly. If it’s not connected to WiFi it doesn’t seem to crash but if it’s connected it will crash every couple minutes while just reading. I think it may have to do with the cloud account or something of that nature. 2) Because I have to have the WiFi off so my app doesn’t crash, it doesn’t save my reading progress in the history, so I have to go and find where I was last in a particular book. It seems to me that the reading history and progress should be saved locally and when connected it could be synced to the cloud. I don’t think I’m the only one that prefers to do my morning devotions without the distractions that come from the Internet. 3) I first noticed this around the new year so maybe it was the update in Dec.? The EGW scripture reference is gone! It doesn’t show up in “all collections” and when I click to access it from the history it gives the loading circle and then just freezes on a white screen and I have to quit the app to do anything else. Maybe I’m the only one dealing with these issues, and maybe my iPad is too old, but it’d sure be nice to have those bugs squashed. Thanks, God Bless!
