Sunset isn’t darkness. Clouds can change when daylight fades. Know how much usable light you really have left and make the most of your time outdoors. Know when it really gets dark. DayLight uses real weather conditions to show you how much usable daylight you have left. YOUR ENTIRE DAY AT A GLANCE DayLight’s unique 24-hour dial shows the entire day and night in one view. See the day’s progress, remaining daylight, and upcoming solar events at a glance. Track first morning light, sunrise, sunset, and the fading evening light. WEATHER CHANGES WHEN DAYLIGHT ENDS Clouds and weather affect how long daylight lasts. DayLight estimates when usable light begins and ends at your location. EVERYTHING YOU NEED, ALWAYS WITHIN REACH • Widgets – remaining daylight and solar events on your iPhone Home Screen. • Apple Watch – daylight information and countdowns on your watch face. • Notifications – reminders before sunset or the end of usable light. • Live Activities – countdowns to sunset or darkness on your Lock Screen. • Saved Places – check daylight conditions in other locations. ASTRONOMICAL TIMES & TWILIGHT Want more than just remaining daylight? Switch to Astro mode to explore sunrise and sunset times, along with civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight. MAKE EVERY MINUTE OF DAYLIGHT COUNT Try DayLight today. Not a fan of the update

Beware the update
I’ve had this app for a long time, and really enjoy using it. With this latest update, however, I really miss having all the different versions of sunrise and set (civilian, nautical and astronomical). I also preferred having the dates on the one page instead of going to a separate calendar. But I still find the app useful.Update: I received a reply from the developer and am delighted to find that the gestures I was missing could be found in a different mode. Thanks for the quick response and the advice I needed.

Hi,thank you for being a long-time DayLight. One user and for taking the time to share your feedback. The good news is that the traditional astronomical phases haven’t disappeared. You can switch to Astro Classic mode, which brings back civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight and uses the familiar scientific terminology.I also appreciate your feedback about having the dates directly on the main screen instead of using a separate calendar. That’s useful to know, especially from someone who has used the app for a long time.I hope Astro Classic makes the new version feel more familiar, and thank you again for continuing to use DayLight. One!Michal Kůs

This is a really nice app. There are a number of apps that display sunrise and sunset information. I like this one for the amount of detailed information provided in a well organized way, and the very attractive interface. I earlier wrote a critical review because the date was not correct. This issue has been solved, and the developer sent a message to let me know! So, check the date on any reviews complaining of this problem, it might be an older review and the person may not have updated their app or their review. I am on a iPhone 6s running iOS 10.2.1.

I love this interesting & beautiful app!1-hand clocks are rare to find. This one adds some extra touches: a "24" on the dial & differentiated shadings for civil, nautical & astronomical twilight. The data table with detailed times can be very helpful for planning purposes & the icons & fonts are to me very aesthetically pleasing.I have 2 suggestions:1. What about adding a option to hide the data table? Sometimes I want to know the exact times, but sometimes I just want the sense of calm that only a 1-hand clock can provide.2. What about adding a widget, perhaps as an in-app purchase? Thanks, Michal & Hana, for your efforts on this app - it really shows!

Great concept;app has glitches

Easy&Fun
I love the concept of this app., and the graphics showing just how much daylight there is on any given day of the year. The information that is supplied dawn and dusk times is excellent. But, for some strange reason, it will not allow you to add additional locations, even after you delete other saved locations — in the dropdown menu, which it used to do just fine, and that is disappointing.

Developer Response
Hi,Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, and I'm really glad you enjoyed the concept and the way DayLight. One presents daylight information. You were absolutely right — the bug that prevented adding new locations was frustrating, especially since it had worked correctly before. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.Since then, DayLight. One has been completely redesigned and modernized. The location search has been rebuilt, the issue has been resolved, and the app is once again actively maintained. If you have a chance to try the latest version, I'd love to hear what you think. And if it has earned it, I'd really appreciate you considering updating your review.Thank you for your support!
