CrewRest is a simple airline crew rest/break application/calculator for determining rest periods for flight attendants on long-haul international flights. Features - Pre-installed with over 100 major Destinations to immediately determine timezones to start a crew rest calculation. - Ability to Add additional timezones/airports not already in pre-loaded list. - Optionally calculate rest periods with consideration to for mid-service (for two rest breaks only) and landing service. - Calculate two, three or four rest periods for a single flight. - Detailed results view including gap indicators, end of rest periods, start of landing or mid service, estimated landing time. - Auto countdown display for each rest break.

Why mess with a good thing?!

I used to love this app. But with the revamp it is not nearly as user friendly. Now unable to save frequently used destinations and must manually enter settings that previously had automatic presets. I imagine I will get used to the changes. But “if it ain’t broke … why fix a good thing?” !!

This app is exactly what I needed to easily calculate rest time periods for 3- and 4-pilot crews. The only thing missing was a "city" for GMT/UTC. Fortunately, I was able to work around this by adding RKV (Reykjavik) which uses UTC for their local time. Please make it easier to use this commonly desired time-zone. Thanks for the great app!

Glitchy and not user friendly

While the app does give me the length of each break, for some reason it won’t give me the start and end times. Also, every time I enter the required information, the header of the crew rest results page tells me that my inputted times are incorrect. I’ve had co-workers check my work and still get the same results.

Not for iPhone

On an iPad, it shows the start and end times of breaks/service and works great; on the iPhone, it does not. It only shows the first 2 numbers and an ellipse, “10…” You still need to dig out galley paper with a blank back to write it all down.
