B: Yeah. In fact, I used to work as a doctor at ABC hospital. ◯日本語訳 A:　私はあなたは医療用語に詳しいと聞きました。 B:　ええ。実は、私は医者としてABC病院でかつて働いていました。 ◯重要単語・熟語 ・be familiar with ～　「～についてよく知っている」 ・medical　「医療の、医学の」 ・term　「用語」 ・in fact　「実は、実の所」 ・used to V　「かつでVしていたものだ」 ◯解説 Aの文章で抑えておきたいのは「I heard that （文）」という形。thatは省略可能なので、今回の問題では省略されています。 hearという動詞は、後ろに「主語と動詞を含む文章」を続ける事ができるのが特徴です。 ちなみにthinkやsay等も同様に、「I think that（文）」「I said that（文）」という形でよく使われます。 「used to V原型」は、「かつてVしていたものだ」という意味。 「be used to Ving　＝　Vする事に慣れている」や、 「get used to Ving　＝　Vすることに慣れる」と混同してしまう事が多いです。 しっかりと覚えるのが大切です。 -----------------------------------
