Sign in Difficulties over AT&T cell network plague app

When I first used the app with a slow DSL connection plus AT&T cell data, the app worked well, speeding some downloads for a new computer I was setting up at my sister-in-law’s house. But trying to use it at the local library similarly, the app often fails to sign in, or connect to the VPN servers, or bond the Wi-Fi and cell data. The app also usually fails to connect or bond our 2 iPhones at the house (2-3 bars signal strength) and keeps signing me out so that I get told I am using the free version with its limitations. Except it’s not working even as that, with no bonding, no VPN, no encryption, no speed up of computer or iPad internet access. Rural internet access is very poor in Maine, and this poorly performing software doesn’t really help much.

Update 7: No it isn’t renewed, I saw green bar so I thought it was but later it was res bar again, never happened so please help. Now it is renewed. Thanks a lot!!! It seems like on another device my iPhone 6 the free data wouldn’t renew so it says that I am out of data now when I didn’t even use it this month yet. I could see the country list now. Thanks a lot!!! Great job. I finally could connect today. Sorry that I got to use it somehow, I would actually subscribe by paying another day. Facebook targets you because they know your ips that I login. They are just evil. Since around 12 hours ago yesterday, because of a certain VPN company’s europe ips only- after saying to them so many times without a result to add any US ips back, they expose my data to a communism network by suddenly getting my connections drop, your VPN has the same issues then because of their exposed data about how to drop connections, please help. Thanks a lot in advance!!!
Used to be amazing, now oversubscribed: I get 300+ mbps without it, down to 6mbps with it!

Title says it all: this used to be a very fast, good service. Used it for years. The last month, they have oversubscribed the service or cut costs and infrastructure, I can’t be sure, but what I know and is indisputable: my connection right now can do 300Mbps up and down no problem (actually, it’s way faster, but my WiFi connection maxes at 300Mbps). When I don’t use Speedify, it tests VERY consistently at this speed, no problem. When I use Speedify, it maxes out at 6mbps up and down, VERY inconsistently. This is across devices, across locations (where I also tested the connection), and across accounts (both mine and my wife’s) and has been going on for about the last month. Not worth it at all. Used to be great, now it’s horrible. Support is not helpful and just wanted to blame the connections, but the whole point is they work GREAT without Speedify, so, really, that’s just an excuse. I will be submitting a request to Apple for a refund.

If I see correctly, you've already sent us the speed test results you see to our support inbox. Could you also send us a copy of your Speedify logs after doing a few speed tests so we could figure out what the problem might be?My first suggestion would be to change to a different transport mode in Speedify to see if that makes a difference.Ps. our public servers can handle speeds between 200-300Mbps (some servers might do more), so you shouldn't be seeing a drop to 6Mbps. We also offer dedicated servers that are 1Gbps.
The battery life isn’t great but with tweaking could work.

They say that the battery life isn’t affected by more than 1% and that your battery life in your settings shows Speedify using the most because your internet traffic goes through Speedify. This may be correct but it’s sketchy and they don’t mention about standby. I did tests of my own. When I go to bed with Speedify on my battery drops 10-15%. Using Nord VPN it dropped 1-2% over 8 hours in standby. On iPhone look at the bottom of the battery settings page and it says Usage and Standby. Your phone should have a small Standby time and a large Usage time. Speedify’s standby time was the entire time Speedify is running. Like it or not this had a huge impact on battery life. Speedify’s battery tests were done with the device on and running a film so they didn’t account for this. If they fix this, I’d be willing to come back to it. ** Also when I logged into the Discover app with Speedify set to Seattle discover emailed me saying my account was accessed from China. Speedify didn’t have an answer for this. I wasn’t hacked and the login was definitely me. But somehow the Seattle server made discover think I was in China.... not exactly how it’s supposed to work. Not a dealbreaker though. Nord VPN does what you need it to and doesn’t disconnect when you leave or enter WiFi. I’d go with that since it’s one of the leaders in the VPN community. If Speedify fixes my battery gripe about the phone losing 10% or more in standby over 8 hours, I’ll become open minded once more. This product could be amazing based on the speeding up principle. It just need to exist longer and keep tweaking.

Such as what is your Cellular priority set to, backup, always? How fast are your WiFi connections and does iCloud backup your phone daily?
