Handwrite, seal pages with a cryptographic signature, and export verified PDFs — all on your iPad ImmutaLog turns your iPad into a tamper-evident logbook — the kind of permanent, verifiable record useful for upholding academic integrity standards and protecting your original research, yet robust enough for professional audits, patent filings, and industrial quality control. Anything you write or append is permanent. No erasing, no undoing. Just like a physical lab book, every entry stands as written. Regular backups to iCloud mean that your logbooks can always be recovered in case of data loss. Seal pages with a red-ink signature when your work is complete. ImmutaLog computes a cryptographic hash of every sealed page so any future alteration outside the app — however small — is detectable. Peers and Reviewers can further countersign your pages. The app is privacy-focused, with no information or data leaving your device until you choose to. Export your notebook as a PDF and share a professionally formatted document with a built-in certificate page. The certificate includes per-page SHA-256 hashes and a P256 digital signature tied to your iCloud Keychain. A verification tool is available at https://www.immutalog.com/verify.html so anyone in receipt of your exported documents can independently confirm their authenticity on any computer. Data safety: ImmutaLog stores your logbooks in iCloud, but your signed PDF exports are the only format that can be verified independently of this app. Export each logbook regularly and keep copies outside the app. The developer accepts no liability for data loss due to device failure, account issues, or accidental deletion.

Revamped the backup system - Backups are now per logbook, with users being able to select how many past versions to retain Added user roles - In addition to authors, pages can now also be locked and countersigned by peers and reviewers. Just scan the your Signing Key via the QR code to confirm your identity.
