- Play back input actions either once or on repeat.
- Save and name your recordings for playback at a later time.
- Record and play by choosing your own keyboard shortcuts.
- Adjust a recording's playback speed up to 10x.
- Changes appearance when macOS switches to Dark Mode.

Really good for afking in games

Pros
It's great. It can record a sequence of mouse movements and keyboard inputs. Great for afking in games and collecting boosts and such. Great for quickly doing something in an app that requires multiple clicks and doesn't have a hotkey. You can save your sequences, switch between them, and they save when you quit. You can set intervals between the sequence, the numbers of times it runs, or have it go forever. The UI is nice. You can set the keys for starting a sequence, or recording one, but...

Cons
It takes over the escape button to stop your sequence. If you need to use the escape button in any other app it won't let you. For instances if you do cmd shift 4 to take a screenshot and want to cancel it, you can't press escape to do so. If you're full screen and want to get out of it by pressing escape, you can't. I wish you could remap the stop command to something other than the escape button. Then it would be perfect.

Add Quality of Life Features

Overall great app, but I wish it would have some quality of life features like showing how long the macro needs to run or how many repititions are left. This info could easily be put in the "Press ESC to cancel" pop up. Something like (10 left) or estimate 4:10 under the play button.

Almost perfect!

Five star little app that does what it says it does. I found it to be certainly easier and also more reliable than using Apple's own Shortcuts app to accomplish the same task. So why the "almost perfect"? It has to do with the number of repetitions being limited to 100. I needed to perform a repetitive task 21,224 times (had to do with changing entries in my media database). I kind of got around the limitation by recording myself doing the task 50 times, and then having Input Recorder repeat that recorded 50 a hundred times, thus knocking out 5,000 entries at a time. Instead of such workarounds, allowing the user to set a number higher than 100 would have made it easier, that's all. Thank you for the app, Justin!
