The buds are great, app is frustrating
I love the buds. Absolutely amazing for my kind of hearing issues. The app is frustrating in that the Ear ID process is lengthy, and anything that comes up while you’re doing it, like a call or anything that requires you to leave the app cancels the process and you have to start from scratch.
So I did it three times yesterday before I got an Ear ID, and now this morning I logged in and it has disappeared, so I have to do the process yet again.
Also, when you select a profile to change settings, most of the time it doesn’t actually switch to that profile, so changes you make don’t get pushed to the app, you have to quit the app and go back in to make it select it.
I hope they can fix these issues. It’s an otherwise great product.
Excellent for those with hearing loss
I have moderate to severe hearing loss and am always on the lookout for ear buds. I run 35 miles a week and need something reliable.
I have the IQ Buds 2 Max and love them. They aren’t a replacement for my much more expensive Phonak Audeo Marvel 90s, but they are perfect for my daily runs. The set up process to customize them to accommodate my hearing loss was quick and easy. The case keeps them charged and they came with a wide assortment of tips. They don’t fall out even when I’m doing sprints. I highly recommend them.
Useless item
I tolerate a lot but I cannot just let this pass. The IQbuds, do not worth the money they cost and the advertisement - that actually false marketing... the product as describe does not meet all what is said.
- You have to have your phone in the open to have a continuous Bluetooth connection, - you cannot with the earbuds, they will fall off
- when walking you can hear the base of your steps
- the world off- option is not as the soundproof as from bose.
- once purchase you don’t even know where to send them back without costing you a fortune - so you are stuck with an item that’s remind you how you had been coined, as you cannot even resell or donate them. Earbuds are to be purchased only new to avoid diseases transmission
