iSkitch 1.3.0 — Faster documentation Tools for step-by-step guides and quicker captures: • Numbered stamps (1·2·3): place auto-incrementing numbers, perfect for tutorials and runbooks. • Capture timer: add a 3/5/10s countdown before the shot — time to open a menu or trigger a hover state. • Recapture last region: repeat the exact same crop without selecting again (Shift-Option-Cmd-4). • Multi-display: with more than one screen, pick which display to capture full screen. • Quick capture: send a region or the full screen straight to the clipboard or a file, skipping the editor. • Copy at full size: optionally paste Retina screenshots at their true pixel size (1x) in apps that would otherwise shrink them — plus a size and resolution (dpi) readout in the editor. • Fixed: cropping now shows your annotations too, so you crop the full composition. iSkitch 1.2.2 — Smarter cropping Cropping is much nicer now: • Crop fits the whole image to the visible area instead of jumping to full size — you see everything at once, with the entire image selected by default. • Drag the handles or type an exact width × height to crop. After you apply or cancel, the result fits the window again. • Crop handles, border and the rule-of-thirds grid now keep a comfortable on-screen size at any zoom level. • Fixed: opening an image no longer shows a stray resize cursor — the canvas now uses a crosshair while drawing or cropping, and an arrow with the Select tool. Skitch 1.2 — Open the editor automatically after a screenshot By popular request, iSkitch can now open the editor by itself right after you take a screenshot — so you can keep using the macOS ⌘⇧4 shortcut you already know. • Open editor after a system screenshot: turn it on in Settings ▸ Capture, point iSkitch at the folder where macOS saves screenshots (usually the Desktop), and every new capture opens straight in the editor. • "After capturing" actions, Shottr-style: choose Show editor, Copy to clipboard and/or Save to file — in any combination. The default keeps the familiar behaviour (just show the editor). • Customisable capture shortcut: the built-in ⌥⌘4 can now be rebound to any key combination you like, in Settings ▸ Capture ▸ Shortcut. • Plus: the full macOS menu bar now stays available whenever an editor window is open. iSkitch 1.1.0 — Multilingual update iSkitch now speaks 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Korean. The app auto-detects your system language; you can also pick one in Settings ▸ General ▸ Language.
