Istanbul's best coffee shops, all in your hand. Find what's open near you, see who roasts the beans and get directions in a tap.
Istanbrew is a guide to the best speciality coffee in Istanbul. Every shop we recommend is on one map, so you can see what's good near you, check whether it's open and get directions in a tap. It covers the whole city, from Kadıköy to Karaköy.
Our Picks are the shops we'd send a friend to first. Each area has its top choice, so you always know where to start.
Before you go, you'll find opening hours in local time, directions in the maps app you prefer, and what each shop offers: Wi-Fi, food, oat and plant milk, outdoor seating, and whether your dog is welcome.
You can also see who roasts the coffee, where the beans come from and which shops pour them. Filter by origin or by roaster to find a particular bean.
Visiting a landmark? Each shop page shows what's within walking distance, and each landmark shows the nearest good coffee. That makes it easy to fit a proper cup into a day of sightseeing.
The city guide covers the people, events and news behind Istanbul's coffee scene.
Istanbrew is available in English and Turkish, and you can switch languages at any time in Settings. There's also a light and dark mode. No account and no ads.
