iTang brings reading, listening, search and questions together in one private PDF reader for iPhone and iPad.
Open searchable PDFs, scanned documents, papers or long books. Read at your own pace, listen to the document, search for words and phrases, or ask questions about the text.
LISTEN
Listen to PDFs with continuous, audiobook-like narration while the spoken words are highlighted on the page.
Adjust the reading speed, move automatically between pages and continue listening in the background or while your device is locked.
For a more natural listening experience, you may prefer one of Apple’s Enhanced or Premium system voices, where available. Download the voice in your device settings first, then select it in iTang.
ASK AND SEARCH
Use Find when you want to locate an exact word, phrase or name.
You can also ask questions about the document. iTang searches the PDF for relevant passages, prepares an answer on-device and lets you review the supporting evidence and return to the original source page.
SCANNED PDFs
iTang can recognize text from scanned PDF pages on-device, making recognized text available for reading, listening and search. Recognition quality may vary depending on the clarity of the scan.
