Itog is a private AI notebook for meetings on macOS. It records any call and produces a clean structured note: participants, topics, decisions, and action items.
HOW IT WORKS
Press ⌘⌥⇧R in any app — Itog starts capturing your microphone and the system audio. No bot in the call: other participants never see that you're recording. When the meeting ends, Itog transcribes the audio locally on your Mac and produces a ready note.
MINDMAP — NEW IN 1.1
Turn any meeting note into a visual mindmap with one click: discussion topics, decisions made, action items with owners, blockers. Drag the corner to resize. Copy the rendered image and paste it into Telegram, Notion, or Keynote — or copy the Mermaid source for further editing. The diagram is cached inside the meeting, so reopening is instant.

Itog captures the system audio, so it works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Telegram, FaceTime, and any other call app. Also fine for in-person meetings via the microphone.
ANY AI
Supports Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, and local Ollama. Bring your own API key — Itog adds nothing between you and the provider. If you need fully offline, run Ollama with the model of your choice.

Long meetings and editable mindmaps
— Long recordings now make it to a protocol. Two- and three-hour meetings that used to fail at the AI step are split into parts, processed chunk by chunk, and merged into one protocol. Nothing gets dropped.
— Mindmaps are now editable. Open a mindmap, hit Edit, and fix it right there: correct misheard names, remove stray nodes. Source on the left, live preview on the right. Now it's actually shareable.
— Fewer failures. Added automatic retries for provider overload and rate limits, plus longer timeouts — protocol generation is far more robust on long recordings and flaky networks.
Works with Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, and local Ollama as your summary provider.
