“江源新闻”客户端是由中共青海省委宣传部主管，青海省互联网新闻中心主办，由“大美青海”客户端升级而来，以青海省县级融媒体中心省级技术平台为依托建设的省级新闻综合类客户端，致力打造“青海新闻第一端，工作生活好助手”。
“江源新闻”客户端引入更为先进的移动应用开发技术和大数据、大模型等智能工具，全面提升客户端的运行效率和用户体验，确保信息传递更加及时、准确、流畅。同时，聚焦用户需求，增强政务服务、社区服务等功能，优化服务体验，增强平台吸引力和用户黏性。开通“AI播报”“书城”“服务”“看青海”等功能类板块，设有“生态高地”“产业四地”“乡村振兴”“民族团结”“文化旅游”“社会民生”等新闻资讯类频道，集新闻宣传、政务服务、社会服务等于一体。通过与各类服务平台对接，涵盖读书学习、网上办事、文字校对、生活缴费、智能问答等多种功能，服务全省各地各行业，逐步打造成集宣传引导、信息汇聚、民生服务、大数据运营为一体的新时代治青理政新平台。
