JWrite is the theocratic notes app designed for Jehovah's Witnesses: take notes at meetings, conventions and assemblies, prepare your personal Bible study and keep your ministry organized, all in one place.
Type a scripture like "Matthew 24:14" and JWrite recognizes it instantly: tap it and read the verse right inside your notes, without switching apps.
AUTOMATIC SCRIPTURE DETECTION
JWrite finds Bible references in your notes while you write. Tap any reference to read the verse in a handy panel. Download the Bible in your language (13 languages available) and scripture lookup works completely offline: perfect for the Kingdom Hall, conventions and the ministry.
CONVENTION AND ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS
Regional convention and circuit assembly programs are built in. Every talk has its own space for notes, so your thoughts stay organized session by session and are easy to find again even years later. With JWrite Pro the programs are also available offline.
DAILY TEXT AND STUDY TAB
Start the day with the daily text, swipe through past days in the archive and keep dedicated notes for each day. The Study tab also offers suggestions for today, ideas for family worship and quick access to your pinned personal and family study notes.
A REAL EDITOR FOR YOUR NOTES
• Rich formatting: bold, italic, colors, headers, checklists and much more, with a fully customizable toolbar
• Save the speaker and congregation for every talk
• Organize with categories, pin your important notes, search everything in an instant
• Trash with restore, so nothing gets lost by accident
• Share your notes as text or as a formatted PDF
APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY
Prepare your student assignments on the stage with conversation mode: write the dialogue line by line, you and the householder, for parts like "Starting a Conversation" or "Following Up". Get to the meeting with your part already prepared.
SMART REMINDERS
A reminder for personal study on the days you choose, a meeting reminder 30 minutes before it starts and a daily text reminder.
SYNC AND BACKUP
Create a free manual backup of all your notes, no account needed. With JWrite Pro your notes sync automatically to the cloud and stay up to date on phone and tablet, with a clear sync status on every note.
COMFORTABLE FOR EVERYONE
A high-legibility, dyslexia-friendly design, light and dark themes and layouts made for tablets and large screens. Available in 13 languages.
JWrite is free with ads. The optional JWrite Pro subscription removes ads and unlocks cloud sync, custom categories and offline programs: an independent, not-for-profit project where every contribution simply covers servers and development.
Note: JWrite is an independent app and is not affiliated with or associated in any way with the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania. It does not reproduce official logos or names and is not meant to replace the official JW Library app. To enable scripture lookup, download the Bible in your language from within the app after installation.
