Leashless is an AI chat app that runs entirely on your iPhone. Ask questions, write emails, plan a trip, get help with code or learn something new. The AI runs on your iPhone, so your chats stay there. If you turn on web search, only your question is sent to Brave Search. After a one-time download, Leashless works without an internet connection. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your chats are saved only on your iPhone (and in its backups). • No accounts, no sign-in. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. • The developer receives only your web search questions, and only when you search without a Brave key of your own. They pass through Leashless's search relay, which keeps no record of them. Brave keeps them on the developer's Brave account for up to 90 days, not linked to you. THE RIGHT MODEL FOR YOUR IPHONE Leashless checks your iPhone's memory and free storage and suggests the model that runs best on it: • Leashless Small: MiniCPM5 2B by OpenBMB (about 1.4 GB) • Leashless Standard: Qwen3.5 4B by Qwen (about 3.1 GB) • Leashless Large: Gemma 4 E4B by Google (about 5.2 GB), for iPhones with 8 GB of memory or more. It writes the best answers but is slower, so you choose it in Settings. You can switch or delete models in Settings. Downloads keep going in the background and are checked before use. USEFUL EVERY DAY • Clear answers with lists, tables, code blocks and math. • Think mode: the AI reasons first, which can help with math, logic and planning. • Copy, share or regenerate any answer, or edit your question and ask again. • Chats get short titles automatically, written on your iPhone. • Light and dark mode. OPTIONAL WEB SEARCH Turn on web search to get answers from current web pages, with numbered sources. It's free and uses Brave Search. Leashless asks before it searches for the first time, and only your question is sent, never your chat history. You can also add your own Brave Search API key. GOOD TO KNOW • Leashless is for people 16 and over. • Answers come from an AI and can be wrong. Check anything important. • Requires iPhone 11, iPhone SE (3rd generation) or later.
