After multiple failed attempts, the app will temporarily lock. If you are ever permanently locked out because of a forgotten PIN, you can now use a secure Face ID / Touch ID escape hatch to immediately regain access to your business data. • Smart Printing Fixes: We've completely rebuilt the printing logic. The app now intelligently distinguishes between standard Office Printers (via AirPrint) and ESC/POS Receipt Printers (via our Direct Thermal mode). This resolves an issue where AirPrint was incorrectly slicing A4 invoices on narrow thermal paper. • In-App Guidance: We've expanded the Business Settings and Help & Support sections. Intelligent Receipt Scanning is here! We’ve made bookkeeping much faster. You can now use your camera or photo library to scan paper receipts in seconds. • Smart Extraction: LedgerPad’s receipt scanner helps you capture key details automatically, including the date, vendor name, and total amount. • HMRC-Aligned Suggestions: The app suggests an MTD expense category based on the merchant and receipt content. • You Stay in Control: Nothing is saved automatically. Review the pre-filled form, make any changes you want, then tap save to add it to your ledger. • Linked Receipt Record: The receipt image is stored alongside the expense entry, giving you supporting evidence within your digital records.
