LettersCatch

Catch the world's letter signs

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Spot a giant letter sign, snap it, catch it. Fill your A-Z, earn badges, join a Crew and climb the leaderboards. In 30 languages, from a globe on every screen. You know those giant letters that spell out a town's name at its entrance, on a seafront or in a main square? In LettersCatch they become Totems to discover and catch in real life. CATCH & COLLECT Get close to a sign and take its photo: the app recognizes it and adds it to your collection. Every catch gives you a souvenir card with your own photo, its letters revealed one by one, and confetti scaled to its rarity. Tap your photo to open it full screen and zoom in. The rarer the initial (Q, Z, X... or a non-Latin script), the more Gems it scores. YOUR A-Z ALPHABET Fill every letter of the alphabet with a Totem whose name starts with it, unlock 16 badges and take on the weekly challenge. THE MAP AROUND YOU See which Totems are still to catch near you and how far away they are. Around you, the map starts under a fog that your catches clear. BE THE PIONEER Found a sign that isn't in the game yet? Snap it and submit it. Once a moderator approves it, you are that place's pioneer. PLAY IN A CREW Create a Crew or join one with an invite code. Climb the player and Crew leaderboards, and see your rank in your country. EVERYWHERE, IN YOUR LANGUAGE 30 languages. Change the language from the globe at the top of every screen. Free, with ads. No in-app purchases.

Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

New in 1.8.3: - The map names countries, cities and streets in the app's language, and follows a language change. - On the app lock screen (Face ID or Touch ID), you can change the language too. - A Totem with no hashtag shows its name as one, like #Lyon. - A discovery still waiting for its name no longer fills a letter of your alphabet or counts for the alphabet badges. Badges you already earned stay yours. - After you close a full-screen photo with a quick swipe down, the next tap works right away. - Before you sign in, the legal and help pages show a Back button instead of the tabs.
